Air suspension. This is normal and occurs on every one I have had. Leveling valves are working all the time when driving.
EDIT: My bad…I was thinking Aux tank not secondary brake tank. All 3 of my Prevost coaches would do that with the Aux tank.

If your alt light is on check to make sure it’s sensor wire is tightly connected on the alt. Mines on the side and pretty easy to just fall off.
I have a ttlt device that turns on a red square on the dash and has a switch to change from alt1 to alt2. No clue what that does

George is correct. I suspect you have already discovered that. It simply doesn’t work.

NIRVC tries to portray themselves as a premier outfit able to do anything related to a coach.
Definitely make them aware of the issue and see what they will do to make it right. If me I would be looking for a warranty on the batteries.

I have done the repair mode on lead acid batteries but not AGM batteries.
It did make a difference in the lead acid batteries.

Tvs only use a few watts, same with most other consumer devices including fridges. My fridge only uses 370w on average per day apparently so like 15watts. Cooktops can be 1800w, microwaves 1500w but are only used a bit. Biggest consumer is AC which is about 1500w but without an easy start can use 5000w+ for a few seconds to startup.
Nice part about victron parts is I can see every watt I use and it logs for like 6 months. Have some devices on smartswitches/smart powerstrips to monitor and control remotely too.
I really think a small generator with a huge inverter/battery bay is the way to go. We’re not running 4 ACs at the same time for long

Seems the tail is on backward, or he landed so hard the tail spun around. Anyone know of a termite exterminator down here in Florida that can spray my Bellanca so the IA will sign off on my annual?
I have a tee shirt with my J model Bonanza photo and states “A real pilot likes 2 pieces of tail”. An A&P friend, read it and said, a real pilot can handle 3 pieces of tail.
OK, enough humor for today. Everyone stay safe.

MemberJanuary 28, 2024 at 10:49 am in reply to: Detroit power cool mixed with power cool PlusI had researched this issue in the past when trying to help inform another friend.
I just now googled “what happens when mix sca coolant with oat coolant” and this is the first result:
(all state the same)
Never Mix OAT with Regular Coolant
- Mixing coolants can cause a loss of stability in the corrosion inhibitor, cavitation erosion, and gelling damage. This type of damage is not covered by your warranty, and repairs can cost thousands of dollars.
- Adding as little as 10% of regular coolant in an OAT system is enough to cause damage to your machine.
- Look for the OAT decal before adding or changing coolant to ensure you don’t mix coolants and cause gelling inadvertently.

God bless you Art. You have far more patience than I do. I have had my bus for 5 years, replaced all airbags, Norgen valves, all brake rated air systems, and about 90 per of the push on fittings with compression fittings and have gotten the leaks to a point that my tanks leak down at about 1-2 PSI per hour. I consider that good enough and stop chasing leaks until the leak rate increases.
I do have all 3 tanks leak down at the same rate. I have changed all the check/oneway valves and still have the same leak down rate on all 3 tanks. On a side note, if I dump the air at a fast rate, the check/oneway valves DO WORK. Haven’t made any sense out of that yet.

Hello Captain – THANK YOU for your review and I think you very well may have found it!
I have looked at that exact spot more than a few times – both on paper and at the secondary tank – yet did not comprehend it – due to the fact when performing tank drains in sequence, it did not appear to be leaking – because it is a very slow leak.
In the attached photo, I have circled the check valve in blue.
“Studying” it again since you pointed it out, makes perfect sense.
That check valve must have a VERY SLOW leak, which is NOT noticeable when draining all tanks in the proper sequence to test the check valves.
IF it is not bad, seems only the primary and aux tanks would go down simultaneously (because of aux leaks would simultaneously drain the primary)
I have spent a lot of time and dollars over the past near five years getting the aux system pretty darn leak free, yet still new aux leaks, of course, pop up.
THANK YOU AGAIN and check the Articles Section of this website soon as I just submitted the PDF of that drawing which you can get enlarged at a print shop in far better quality than the photos I took of the drawing.
I just submitted the PDF and it is awaiting admin approval.
THANK YOU AGAIN 🙂
P. S. – if you reply to this or any other post, you will see at the top of the page IN BLUE PRINT, “Do you want to update your profile?” You might consider doing so and adding your email address which would then allow someone to email you by clicking on your name (captain). You could also add info on your coach if you would like. Email me if admin does not approve the drawing to be added to the Articles Section and I will email it back to you. Thanks again, Jeff
