Welcome aboard Bob, you couldn’t come to a better place. You just jump right in, the waters fine. Your veterinary skills will fit right in here on the Prevost Community Forum as animals abound. Some even have four legs! It’s good to have you and Pat with us we’re happy to have you part of the family…

Jon I agree with you if I had the space to install another pump but all spaces are taken with large pump, ro system, electric tankless Heather and a accumulator tank and a 20 gal Raritan water heater. Maybe I have to remove some stuff from the water bay to add another pump. -
Your voltages sound like a charging problem to me. I have my voltage regulator turned down to accomodate agm battery protocol and my numbers are 13.5 and at least 27 under light electrical load.

Congratulations… we sure miss you guys !!

Do do you anyone will ever post pictures of Harry’s bus?

I highly recommend mike Semple RrV Service in Redding CA. Mike really knows Vantare’s and can handle almost any problem. He is on the pc map.

MemberJune 17, 2017 at 8:38 am in reply to: My 91 Beaver Coach Problems II The Resurrection!Dan: You’re right. The most recent anyone had was 2013, most of the picks were in the late 2000’s and very early 2010’s. As far as how Harry got the coach to ETLC, there was very heavy action early on “lowboy”, but most of those guys moved to “at reduced speed with Tennessee state trooper (Code 2) escort due to heavy smoke and dropping oil” before the cut off for changing picks. I’ve deemed nobody won either pool, and am forwarding all the money paid in to Jon and Tom to defray the excessive monetary costs they are incurring to keep The Best Damn Prevost Website Out There” solely for our benefit and enjoyment. Some of the guys and gals who entered the pools paid up front right away, but quite a few said they’d pay me when they saw me on the road or they’d leave an envelope for me at Jeff’s; those who haven’t paid in can just send their money directly to Tom or Jon … they’re impatiently waiting for it.
Harry: You are finally in a good place. These people are going to be your friends. They will tell you the truth and won’t make shit up. They will take your money, possibly quite a bit of it like they’ve done with the rest of us. You’re going to see value in what you’re getting, have first class work done on your coach, and you’re going to learn a ton about your coach. While you’re at ETLC you will also meet some very nice people, please be as nice to them as they are to you. Good luck and please keep us posted on the progress!

Mark, that may be true, but on my previous Liberty, we picked up some bad fuel out West, and that easy-to-change, easy-to-clean Racor was a lifesaver. I have never seen a big boat without multiple Racors, and I believe our fuel cleanliness and serviceability is just as critical as it is on a boat. Just one man’s opinion.

This human race has many many flaws. Most are quick to point out others short comings while they are blind to their own. Quick to point out others mistakes , And make excuses for the ones that have made. Brett , I agree with Your thoughts on honesty and values. Seems like they are almost a thing of the past. I can see how a seller not telling You about obvious things like the fogged up windows and dents would piss you off. But the tire date codes and pictures takes the cake ! Dont give up , The right coach will find You if it is meant to be.
Safe travels,

I believe this is what he was talking about when he said inverter (the boxes with the white labels). I don’t know, I really don’t! I just know he pointed to them when we were there yesterday. And that the 2nd box is what converted to 24 volt. But I’m not 100% sure if thats what he meant this morning when he was mentioning inverter. What he has said and how I’m relating it to you could be a little different which I know doesn’t help!
I think I’ll do what you said Jon, I’ll put a piece of duct tape on the end of each cable and mark where it goes back on the new battery. That was the main fear I had about changing the batteries myself was hooking them up wrong. You guys don’t seem to like the idea of the mechanic doing it so that leaves me.
Someone mentioned having it toed and I’ve not looked at what Good Sam’s will or will not do as yet. But I’d rather not have to have my bus toed. I just don’t! If I have no other choice then so be it, but I’ll start with new batteries first! This whole thing is making me nuts, but I’ll hang in less you guys call me a big baby! I’ll just clutch my blanky a little tighter…
I just checked Good Sam’s and they say…
