So Dick what amp is your transfer switch and what amp service feeds your facility?
If you limited your self to 50 amp, would you not have to dedicate to certain breakers for the house,
because of your wire size? I am all electric and my panel is 400 amp. I have a transfer switch that is 200 amp
{because I did not want pay for a 400 amp}so its dedecated to just one of the panels.I loaded that panel to the max with must haves when the power goes out. However I have 30K military generator with big plug ins.I owned
it before the coach. Or that 20K in the coach would do the job fine I think.Plus it would get exerised way more often -

Two quick questions:
One: I leave my inverters clicked off from the monitor board while hooked up in the warehouse to 120 V…and turn them on at the monitor board when we travel without the generator running… they have perfomed well and no battery problems…
Two: yesterday, the invertor monitor on the “head board” showed a battery condition while hooked up of 11.15 … then, while driving, the monitor displayed 13.5 and after driving while reconnected to the 120 V, it displayed 11.5 again. I noted some residue on a positive cable on the engine batteries and cleaned them all. While running, the alternator dash monitor shows a charge rate of 13.15 V (estimate) and verified by the monitor reading on the head board. When I pushed the chassis monitor condition check button, it showed a condition of 26V for the house batteries and then 12V on the domestic battery condition button.
What do you think? Do these readings seem abourt correct? The house batteries are 60 months old.exactly and the engine batteries are about two years old.
Thanks for the thoughts…

If ZipDee was smart they would not have created the automatic awning with arms in the first place, and then when they developed the cantilevered awnings they would not have ended up with problems with water getting into the motor.
I doubt if these were cheap awnings installed on a 26 foot tow behind trailer anybody would be complaining, but when the awnings themselves are expensive and installed on a very expensive coach the market has higher expectations.

We are all in the unfavorable position of having to accept whatever happens when someone hits us head on, or we hit something such as another vehicle, a bridge abutment or large trees.
What we do not have to accept is the items in our interior becoming flying objects and injuring us from the rear. The photo of the interior shows that almost everything literally exploded from its stored position. We cannot prevent the cabinetry from coming apart or the items in the cabinets from flying out, but we can certainly secure items that are just sitting in place such as “Mr. Coffee” on the countertop or other loose objects that are going flying after an impact.
Put down those cell phones and slow down a little folks. Those photos show what can happen to any one of us.

Guys,
This is dangerously close to personal attacks, and maybe actually has crossed the line. I think it is OK to discuss the issue, and maybe Ben is right about oil prices, maybe not but let’s keep the conversation civil and speak to the issue.

1. Is there a PC Discount?
2. Will there be full hook-ups, partial hook-ups or is this dry camping (well not dry like some counties in the south but dry as in I need to run the generator and not do any laundry)?
3. Will Burt have a Trans-Am? I know if I were Burt, I would drive a 1978 black/gold TA pretty much everywhere I went 🙂
I think that covers my questions…

Hi,
I replaced all the halogen bulbs with LEDs. I changed the bulb only not the fixture. If you are not in a hurry check D H Gate. They have a good selection and are very reasonable. There is a failure rate for all LEDs, usually in the first 5 hours or so, so order some extras. My coach had a total of 84 puck lights, sconces, etc. I was like an easy bake oven in the coach. It is much cooler inside now due to the heat reduction of the light fixtures.
If you take the time to check D H Gate you will like the pricing.

Are details available relating to hookups, meals, and various amenities?
I’m in regardless of whether it is dry camping or full hookup.

Ol’Ben …. where are you located? If you’re considering Elkhart, Ind … Jeff Rowe is just a short drive down the road. We had the alignment at Prevost Jacksonville and are happy with it. I would like to think that Prevost Nashville could do just a good job with an alignment.
