Thanks for that information. I’ll check with soapy water if there is a leak. If not, I’ll just leave it in that position.

I really appreciate your detailed description and photos, it will be very helpful.

“Batteries are fully charged.”
When you turn the key to the on position, does anything register on voltage gauge on the dash? Does the needle move?

Hi Michael, Check your batter connections. When I changed out my batteries, I didn’t make a great connection on the bolts for the battery terminals and one was just slightly loose enough to not make a connection, so the bus acted like it was dead… i.e. no nothing on the dash and no turn over. I cleaned and tightened the terminals and WOW it worked just like new.

Hi Chris, Haven’t been there but google reviews has about 200 comments from folks that have stayed there. (https://www.google.com Camp Cedar Rv park at Kings Island)

Yes, leave it on REM at all times, You do need a new Battery, change it ASAP. I am not sure how your system is configured, but if you have remote modules writing to the PLC register they won’t be able to write while in Run Mode. It is protection for Programming/Operations. REM is the safest position.

Switching from Lifeline agm to Lithium chemisty batteries will save you 100 Lbs per battery.
Also, with lithium batts, you can run fewer batteries, thus saving even more weight. Our bus came from Liberty w/only 3 house batts. Switching from Lifelines to Lithiums saved us 300 Lbs.We’re gonna redo our floors and would love marble, but the weight kills that choice for us. -
I think I got my notification figured out. 🙂

Thanks for the response Marshall…I am away from The coach right now..engine was running on fast idle full air pressure on all tanks.
The gauge to the right was reading 8lbs of pressure.

look up “nutsert” and you might need a tool to install them.

Engine? Yes. Chassis, Maybe! Much depends upon how and where is was used. Lots of winter travel would likely mean the chassis is in for some major issues, very, very soon. Not sure why you are looking at a 500,000 mile coach when so many other excellent options are available.
We just bought a 24 YO coach with less than 100,000 miles (not always good, but in this case, good).

MemberApril 21, 2022 at 8:28 am in reply to: Interesting YouTube on float charging lithium battI cannot relate to other coaches because inverters and how they are set up may be different. My coach has Outback inverters and when power (shore or generator) is applied to them they go into bulk charge mode regardless of the SOC of the Li batteries. Even after a day of driving when the Li batteries have a near full charge this happens.
But as long as power to the inverters remains the inverters go into float and at that point go into “silent” mode. In silent mode they no longer apply float current to the batteries until the batteries drop to around 12.6 or 25.2 depending on if the coach is a 12 or 24 volt coach. Once the batteries reach that voltage level, unlike conventional batteries Li batteries have very little SOC left, but that is OK. They are going to get a float charge when reaching that point and when they reach that level again the inverters go back to silent mode.
My coach has a lot of phantom loads and the cycling in and out of silent mode is normal and OK. But I learned even with an uninterrupted power supply to the inverters I have to realize, unlike AGM batteries they may not be fully charged depending on their voltage when power to the inverters is removed. The Li batteries however get more fully charged when the bus is started, which is OK, but if we have a power outage I have to be prepared to get the generator running to fully charge them again if power goes off when their voltage is down to 12.6 or 25.2 because at that point they are close to when their power drops off fast and they can go into shut down.
The bottom line is Li batteries are great, but depending upon various conditions like an inverter in silent mode or cold temperatures to name two they are going to be different from what we were used to.

I would be in tears.

Yes, Mike… Purchased it 6 years ago and still satisfied. REALLY LIKE & APPRECIATE the built-in TDS (total dissolved solids) meter
