… 🙂
I was going to install a 12 volts fire engine siren on the bus, which I had bought on eBay.
Everyone thinks it sounds great and is loud. However, my wife does not like that idea thinking that it would confuse people, who may look for a real fire engine.
However, once she heard train horns, she was sold. … 🙂
Stay tuned.

Larry’s advice is dead on. The thermostat that is in celsius located in the port plumbing bay runs the aqua-hot bay heater on the starboard side water bay. After talking to Peter, I learned that you have to have the heat exchanger button on the dash set to the “on” position and this also heats the engine. So with the electric water heater on and coach thermostats set low, coach and bays are kept warm. There is always the electric heater mounted in the port plumbing bay as well.
I think you got is nailed down Peter.

Thanks Sid – I won’t think about it. I read it was tight but ok for big rigs but I wanted conformation. We were going to an event in Canyon. Thanks again.

When our Royale is at home in Colorado in the winter we use the electric heater Royale installed in the water tanks area plus the three toe kick heaters. We also turn on the electric heat element in the Aqua Hot and set all three zone thermostats at about 40 to 45 degrees. Have had no problems in the seven years we have had the coach.
The best way is the southern part of Arizona for the coldest part of winter which is what we are doing now.

Wonder if we can solve that plaque thing with an evening Dawn and Water instead of the usual Bourbon and Water? I suspect that would expand on this thread too much because that would make your toilet the only thing ever used in the bus again!

Mango Mike has a very good article already, in fact the rear bag change is, I do believe, penned by Jon. http://www.prevoman.com/. The bags are now about 1800 ea. from Prevost with your VIN; probably preaching to the choir but don’t forget the LH wheels have “wrong way threads”, rightie loosie, lefty tightie! Also from my experience have a good look with soapy water spray at all fittings especially the slip in quick connects which are easily replaced by DOT compression fittings available at all large truck part stores.

Those numbers are almost identical to what my XL used. I would say they are correct.

Yes. Supposed to be. They have the quick trigger release handles too. Demco arms are completely independent of each other, and mount to a vertical pin at the hitch end. But my observation, inquiries, and experience is that all bars will bind at some point (here I mean the connecting pins at the toad end can’t be pulled by Popeye or the Hulk), unless perhaps one of the two vehicles has the brakes set and the other vehicle moved forward or back to release forces, with sufficient foul language and threats applied, and if one hasn’t experienced binding; wait.

It should be repairable given its simple, low-tech design using transistors vs ICs or microcontrollers. Solder cracks on relay contacts are a common failure point due to vibration. The other area to look at are electrolyte capacitors (tall cylindrical objects). Look for discolorization or leaks etc. Easy and cheap to replace just pay attention to polarity. There was a whole generation of electronics that were tainted by bad caps from Taiwan and would fail after several years of use. I guess that controller pre-dates that era. Good luck
