Many thanks. I’ll visit my local NAPA store this afternoon. 3 ports have arrived, 5 ports have been shipped.

Fabricated a new bracket to adapt the Jack to the Braund Concord powered mast. Blasted the old Concord and painted flat black. Had to rework the saddle and limit switch for antenna down position.
The Jack works really well as others have also said. Very happy with it and the low profile makes it tree friendly compared to the old wing style.
Fabricated aluminum bracket for the arms.
Special order to get a Jack in Black, then blasted old Concord, replaced gears and bushings and painted flat black.

3M also makes an adhesive that you should be able to get at a NAPA store. It is made to hold auto rubber door seals that I have used in the past. Contact adhesive should also do the trick depends on what you have available..

Back when I was working Special Enforcment and Traffic, the charge we used was “Impropper Equipment, Headlights.” If a vehicle is traveling down the road and their headlights are
flashing on and off, we figured there must be something wrong with the
electrical system of he vehicle. Therefore, a summons for Impropper Equipment, Heaqdlights. Tell the judge you were flashing to warn others of radar if you wish and he can dismiss the charge if he wants, but the charge is totally proper and based on good faith that there is an electrical issue with the vehicle. Just because someone says they are purposly flashing their lights to warn others do not necessarlly mean it is true, he may in fact be trying to hide defective equipment. And speaking from 30 years experience, people will tell you almost anything to get out of a summons 🙂 Moral to the story: There are more than one way to skin that perverbial cat 🙂
Sorry if this is not a very poplar post, but it’s one from a guy with a 30 year Public Safety background…

No matter your plans, just do not make the trip between Durango and Grand Junction. It’s known as the Million Dollar Highway and I only avoided the drive when I posted my plans and a friend chimed in to let me know what I was about to encounter.
Otherwise, you really can’t go too wrong in the areas you plan to explore. If you will be passing through Glenwood Springs and you like hot spring, this is one of the nicest. You can stay just East of town at the No Name exit called Glenwood Canyon Resort.
