Almott Replacement Alternator for 50DN
In my search for a Prevost coach, I came across a few Wanderlodge coaches and one Prevost where the owners had replaced the 50DN with an Almott air-cooled unit. Has anyone done this or have any thoughts as to the +/- of Almott as a replacement?

I keep seeing the hate for Cruisairs but what is the failure point on them? Is it just the road heat causing high pressure shut down or are the units just failing structurally (leaks)?
