We replaced one Heart interface with a Magnum MS4024 and ran it with the other Heart for 3 years, almost to the day. The other one failed and we replaced it with the same Magnum. Didn’t notice any abnormalities in the mean time.

Bryan, I fully appreciate the gravity of the wake up call, thanks for posting it here. I’ve been guilty of long stints.

I very much appreciate all this advice. Hearing that they basically follow the rear wheels and then the nose swings is what I needed to understand for my primitive modeling.
Jon, I am also thankful for your articles which have given me some courage to go down this path. As to your comment about most people just eyeballing it and going for it or giving up, I’m a go for it kind of guy and have started to swoon over this idea so much that, as I noted above, I’m not above repaving my driveway to make it wider and “mouthier” simply to solve this equation. I bought the house expecting to add a “car garage” but never thought ahead 17 years ago to making it a bus depot, too…

With the rubbing effect on outside edges of tag axle tires I’am becoming a little concerned about moving tags to front.
Take a good look at these pictures of tread separation in tag axle mounted tires. Inspection of edges seems to be really important to catch a suspect tire. Referance…. Sids tire post.
If my steer axle tires are wearing evenly then why do I want to move a tag tire from a really tough service location to my steer axle ?
BTW…..Michelin 365’s are national back order, again.

I see this as another nanny state attempt to regulate under the guise of “SAFETY”. There have always been accidents, and there always will be. Nothing that the politicians do will ever prevent stupid people from doing stupid things.

Prevost started putting governors on the new buses this past winter. My friends was set to 75 mph because of the Michelin tire rating, they want no liability.
For about 30 dollars Volvo truck will set it back to normal after you sign the release form.Later

If you know how to use it to check voltages, and know how to check continuity (not even measure ohms) you are probably capable of doing 99% of any analysis necessary. If you can use it to measure ohms and not just continuity you are using it for almost 100% of what it is needed for.

We had Marathon in Grand Prairie do the installation, and we found a GE at Home Depot that worked great. Marathon in Oregon can certainly replace the refrigerator as well as fix your CruiseAirs.
