Down here in the deep southeast we know “Black Water” as being a low land swamp term. As such, we had to come up with an understandable term so as not to confuse us country boys. We call it the “Poo Tank”, not a problem understanding that reference! It still stinks too.

Peter it would be helpful if you showed my lovely wife how to dump ours. She will not even watch me do ours. You must turn it into art, from the sound of things. Do you wear a cape when you dump?

I don’t know what you guys are talking about. When we release the soft water from our black/grey tank, I get a whiff of rose petals…. I guess it’s a Liberty thing. The Marathon, CC, Royale, Vantare, Featherlite and Millennium owner’s will just have to deal with the unpleasantness of their tanks.

It is going to take a while to get the grin off my face.
I hope you all remember when Mr. Mark was asking a lot of questions. As a newbie he had a lot of them which is expected.
But now that he is a seasoned veteran he has shown himself to have learned very well and has done a fine job of teaching all others what we Liberty owners have always known. Our holding tank never has the nasty odors likely found in the holding tanks of all other conversions.
Keep up the good work Mark. Those driving SOB (some other brand) never saw that one coming.

Seriously, if these sessions could be videotaped, they could be retained as educational articles/reference documents on the website and could be invaluable.

Tom and I will be posting a lot of details as soon as we iron out some issues relating to the seminar.
I can say for sure the handouts and workbooks will be fairly extensive. We hope to record it and it may end up being on U-tube (or some similar format) or as a DVD. The reason for going to the extent is we think the seminar will be repeated in various locations and times so the front end work is going to be significant.
What we hope can be included will be time for converter specific questions and answers. At Oysterfest we plan on having some morning Q&A sessions over coffee and the type of questions will help guide us on that part of the program if we can make it work. The focus as planned right now is a concentration on things of broad general interest.
Everyone who contributes to this forum is actually helping to shape our seminar. The questions asked are items of interest to our members and those asked or dicussed most often on the forum are going to help get those topics in the seminar. The difference is going to be the availability of coaches for show and tell which will make the seminar significantly more valuable than words and photos.

This event could be fairly large.
Once there is a date set, let’s contact a nearby RV Park to reserve spots for those who cannot/do not want to dry camp. We can shuttle to Jeff’s place for the presentations.
We have stopped by Jeff’s for service but have not stayed int the area so do not know that this point what may be 5 to 10 miles away.

Unless our thinking changes there are going to be some things we will want owners to demonstrate on their own coaches. That might not be convenient if the coach is in some remote location.
Attendance is going to be limited, more because we are going to be under a coach as part of the session and we want everyone to be able to see and hear the discussion. That is one reason why the current thinking is to make this training program available at different times and at different venues.
