As we are now only a couple of weeks out for the “Know your Prevost”, any chance that one of you could throw some quick directions to Jeff’s place from the North, South, East & West of Knoxville?

I’d like to know the good roads for busses not the Google Maps or Iphone Maps route. (Jon, new phones have mapping apps with them, flip phones not so much!).

The East Tennessee Luxury Coach site has a map with directions.

Coming up I-75 from the south I would exit at exit 62 (route 322) and proceed east until it joins 72. Take 72 to the east until it joins 411. Take 411 north. If coming on I-75 from the north, exit at exit 72, and proceed towards the east until 72 joins 411.

Route 411 heading north takes you through Vonore, and once out of the area of shops and restaurants Jeff’s East Tennessee Luxury Coach is the second left. Just before the road on the hill to the left are Prevost Community and East Tennessee Luxury Coach signs. If you go over the water you just missed the road. Turn around when you can and make the first right after you cross the bridge.

If you are coming from the east on I-40 I would exit I-40 at route 129 (nasty area to make an exit because of traffic entering I-40 from 275). After you pass the exit for I-275 north stay in the 3rd lane, and when you are abreast of where I-275 is coming into I-40 there are five lanes. Stay in the 4th lane and it will bring you into Route 129. Follow 129 all the way past the airport, past the red pedestrian bridge, past the mall that wil be on your right, and then stay in the LH lane. Do not change lanes. That will put you in the slow lane onto 411 south. When you cross the water E TN LC will be at the first right when you come off the bridge.

If you are coming from the west on I-40, stay in the RH lane and proceed south on I-75. Follow the directions above.

I know I’m really late to the party, but a basic idea i think might be helpful would be how to access all of the things you may have to fix. For example, the air system that powers the floor at the front door, fantastic fans that hide behind ceiling treatments, hidden plumbing fixtures, and anything else the converter hides behind something else to make it look pretty while befuddling the owner with no mechanical skills.

Well it’s just about time for Prevosts clinic at Jeff’s , I have been doing clinics for 30 years and I charge 5500 for four days , I think I need to raise my price !!!!! It’s on horses though , but maybe clinics on Prevost are better time spent!!!!!!!!! Just Laugh if you can!!!!!

To Karl’s suggestions……. we anticipate engaging in some converter specific discussions, but there is som much to cover just on the chassis we will have limited time, but more importantly there are so many conversions, variations of conversions, and different model years deep discussions on the conversion part of a Prevost are going to be impractical without having specific seminars for each conversion put on by the conversion experts.
