It appears the Redhead and I will be attending, that’s if mother nature cooperates and lets me finish planting by then. We called today and are in 106.

Catherine’s Landing. anyone with an H be careful on the road to the resort. They have had low hanging tree branches. Might need to take the entire center of road..

That’s good advice. Although summer growth has not set in I would strongly urge you to not enter this resort off any road but the Bypass.

If you come from I30 on 270 down or South 7 on the other side of town make sure you exit Carpenter Dam Rd and go south off of the 270 Bypass, Shady Grove is the 1st or 2nd light and go left a few miles. Being spring you might need to fudge the center of the road. Entrance is on your right.

My Pop retired down there and we have been there many of times and many a guy came in reading their GPS and ripped things off the top of their coach.

Look at your map and you will see clearly what I’m talking about.

Have fun, this is about as good as their weather gets.

Hopefully, the access is better… we have not had an issue… and a lot of big coaches come to Catherine’s Landing… so, I hope all will go well.

Several are signing up after the Bella Terra Event… please do so as soon as possible… good group coming…,

We will have a suggested “non schedule schedule” for the “non rally rally” … soon…

    Hit us with any questions…

When I made the reservation at Catherine’s Landing, they included directions…

***NOTE TO GPS USERS: Our address of 1700 Shady Grove Road does not show up correctly on GPS maps because we are still new. The recommended address to enter in your GPS is “1010 Shady Grove Road, Hot springs national park”. This address will put you at the church on the corner of Carpenter Dam Rd & Shady Grove. Keep driving approx. 1 mile and you will see our 1/4-mile sign. DO NOT follow your GPS if it says to take “Catherine Heights”. If you do not have a GPS, please use the following directions:

***DIRECTIONS TO OUR RESORT: Take Interstate 30, take Exit 98B / HWY 270 to Hot Springs for 13 miles, when you come to the overpass, go under it and turn left at the stop light and get on the (270 W/70 W.) 270 bypass also known as MLK or Martin Luther King BLVD. Continue 270 bypass then take Exit 7/Carpenter Dam Rd. Turn left if coming from East / Turn Right if coming from the west onto Carpenter Dam Road. Go through one more intersection before coming up on the intersection of Carpenter Dam and Shady Grove road, merge into the left turning lane, then onto Shady Grove Road. Catherine’s Landing is 1.5 miles down Shady Grove Road – our entrance is on the right.

    Safe travels,

    Mark

    Pres,

Becky and I finally got signed up today, I believe in #102. We were told there was one more river space available. Looking forward to seeing old friends and new.

    Do you have a headcount?

    George,

There has been a change in staff at the RV resort twice in the “group Management” position. With your permission, I have moved you to site 110… it is a much prettier site and is closer to everyone else… Hope that is ok?

102 actually is off of the river by several yards ….

If that is not what you want, I will change it back…

At present, we have had two cancellations but have 13 coaches coming… a good group.

    Pres,

Add one more to the list. Lauren and I and perhaps one kid will be arriving on the 18th after middle daughters 8th grade graduation.

I think they put us in 109. Looking forward to attending our second PC event…

    OK

We are approaching the week of the non rally rally at Catherine’s Landing RV Resort in Hot Springs, Ark. We will be targeting the 17th throught the 21st for the inaugural event.

We have 14 coaches already set with Riverside accommodations… please sign up soon or the slots will be gone.

The non schedule, schedule will call for a lot of fun…

On the potential agenda will be an opening Margarita fest on the 17th, a visit to the renown Garvin Gardens, dinners at the Blue Monkey Grill, the Fisherman’s Wharf, lunch at Whiskers (ribs), and a cookout on Saturday evening on an open pit… after a seminar on any topic anyone cares to discuss at any time…but we will have some literature and a group discussion on meat selection… we will see how good our individual thoughts jive on selection, what we like and how to cook the perfect steak…

So far, one of the group insists that if it looks like a chunk of charcoal, it is just right… I do not know but I do know I won’t argue with her…

Don’t forget to check out the fishing guides discussed in previous threads……

    Please join in the fun…

I am receiving emails from many different states even today… do not know what is wrong.

Please try: overcup@comcast.net … that will work for the previous transmissions, etc.

    Sorry you are having trouble.
