You can also call an auto glass company to come out. Have everything ready to come in and go out. They remove the windshield and you take out the old fridge. Put the new fridge in the coach and let the glass company reinstall the windshield. You can do the install at your leisure.

They come out very easy if you are not replacing the gasket. If your bus is like mine, there is a rubber cord you can remove and the windshield will come right out.

I don’t mind the fridge part, and I have strong bodies, I just don’t know the windshield side of it.
Is there anything I need to be aware of on that part? I can’t leave it open once the removal and change out is started.

I am having to replace my fridge in my 89 Marathon. I am in Mooresville, NC and was wondering who I can contact and / or how this is typically accomplished? I have read that one side of the windshield has to be removed to get the old out and the new back in, then the windshield is re-installed. My question surrounds types of services y’all…

Well, I made it to my destination without my alternator connected. I ran during the days, then charged my batteries overnight maintaining proper voltage. I plan on removing my alternator and having it tested / fixed.

Going to replace tag wheel oil seal,have never done before.i have a 1998 royal 45 XL .wondering if any one can tell me touque to set inner and outer nuts and also size of nuts because i have to buy sockets for them.i checked on maintance site and it only shows touque on drive wheels not sure ifit is the same

I like the idea of getting more margin for my steers given I am pushing the advertised limit. My thought was to possibly switch to 365 on steer and keep 315 on drive and tag, and use my 315 spare if ever needed for the steer to get me off the road. 365 carry more weight hence more safety margin on the steers. 365 have been had to get over the past years so 356s on the tag give you emergency spares for the steers.

Question for those who have went from 315 to 365. I can understand the benefit of changing the steers because of heavy axel weight (mine currently sits at 18,500), what I am questioning is what is the benefit of changing the tags?
