The only tools needed are a plastic “knife” to work the windshield gasket around the glass when installing it and a tool that inserts the “cord” by inserting the cord through the tool and than drawing the tool along the groove the cord goes into to lock the glass in place.
Since yours is a two piece windshield (actually 4) the sections are relatively small and light. This is something you can do yourself. We have replaced windshields at rallies as a demonstration by owners that never replaced one previously. 1/2 hour to 3/4 hour each. We never use sealant.
Any glass installer can also do it, but don’t let them seal the glass in place. Broken windshields are common.

WOW! I know those things get hot, and there have been fires before. That is why I like my pre 2010 engine so much. No catalytic converter, no DPF and lastly no DEF.
I hope they have the bugs out before we need a new coach because by then, there will be no choice but to get that stuff or even more…

The KOA in the lower keys is on the North End of Sugarloaf Key. It is a busy park and from what I remember it is “tight”. Although, there are alot of big rigs that park there in the winter time. It will be crowded. I haven’t been there in a while but always look over there when we are leaving out of Key West. When I lived in Sugarloaf, I would go there to get my propane tank filled for the Bar-B. I think that you will be fine with a larger site.

Yes, I did use Zaino on the stainless. It worked very well.
I got brave and used my Flex buffer on the rear of the bus and the roof, and it worked great. I will never do the bus by hand again, after trying the buffer.
I am not a distributor of Zaino. I have used it on all our cars/trucks around the house for several years. They are all daily drivers, and the Zaino has always held up better and longer than any wax/polish that I have tried previously.
If we are at a rally sometime, I will loan out my Flex dual action orbital polisher to anyone that wants to try the Zaino. You buy the Zaino products, and a case of diet Mountain Dew for me to drink. I’ll sit in a comfortable chair watching, to make sure that you are doing it just right!

Ditto the good advise… I had a Blue Ox towbar that got worn and didn’t even realize it until someone told me there was quite a bit of movement on our Jeep while driving beside me. I replaced it with a heavier Blue Ox and now pay more attention to the towbar condition.

Rita and I are hosting the spring Royal Coach Rally at Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach SC on April 30 thru May 5, 2012. This is going to be a POG style rally with more mingling and interaction and of course good food and a couple of activities in there for the die hards instead of the constant trips and sight seeing. That being said it looks like the rally will run right around $6000 all inclusive. The Royals are a great groupe of people that most of us already know. The other Item we are pitching here is a Parrallel Rally, same basic dates, same place, getting the rally rates, you make your own reservations for a no agenda, just haveing fun chance to gather in the nice warm spring time in MB with 50 or 75 or maybe even 100 beautiful Prevost buses by the seashore. So lets work on getting all the east coast (the middle and west coast guys can come too) Prevost Community and POG members togather and have some FUN!! Thanks Bill
