I had a tech at DD overfill my 8V-92 and drove around with it for about 50 miles before discovering it. How did I discover it you ask. The slobber all over the engine as the oil found it’s own way out.

Kind of messy until I got it drained down and cleaned up but no damage.

    Consider wearing swim goggles.

Unscrew the gas strut from the ball socket. Thus eliminating the removal of the socket.

Harbor Freight has many speciality tools for tight spaces.

My Royale front goes up about 4 inches. Here is how I know when it has picked all the way up using level low. I watch the aux. air guage. The pressure goes down as the front starts to raise. When the aux air reaches the same pressure as the primary guage the front is as high as it goes.

What do you disagree on? It won’t raise easily in spite of having the correct air bags and the valves working properly. My 94 was the same and the XL2 I now have is just about as bad, the front end will come up, but requires high pressure and coaxing. Even Bill Jensen explained some time ago it wasn’t designed to raise, that’s why it’s call Level Low. Out of 5 buses and different converters, I had one that would raise easy and that was the CC.

    Jon,

Maybe you can move to level ground before the rally! I have no desire to be on the evening news.

“I have close to 300,000 Prevost miles. I could not tell the difference driving between solid axle vs. ifs or stock shock vs. Koni in a straight line BUT the difference in ride ON MY COACH going from 315’s @115psi to 365’s @90 psi was HUGE.”

I can certainly agree if the 315 and 365 tires were both the same age. Truk and I spent hundreds of miles recently in my H2 Hummer with old tires. They were noisy and rode harsh. So bad we could hardly talk. I replaced them and three weeks later he rode in and drove my H2 again. The difference was HUGE.

    Gil,

Beats the hell out of me, the label pictured says “compatible with Poly B.” When I was looking for the parts back in 09, the Depot folks said they used to carry it, but not anymore.

Dan – I’ll get it headed your way, this is the exact stuff used in your Liberty, whatever you want to call it.
