Ron and Gabi,
Here is something counter to conventional thinking. Avoid I-95 up the east coach. Make the return more relaxing by making an arc to avoid traffic intense roads.
Head north on I-75, then jog over I-40 to I-81 to I-84 into NH or any other route off of I-81 that is convenient. You will drive more miles, but as long as you have time, you can avoid the stress related to the east coast metropolitan areas. Atlanta is the only heavy traffic area and we just jump into the HOV lane and avoid the dicing and slicing of the regular traffic lanes making the path through Atlanta pretty simple. Along the way you can get to meet a lot of Prevost owners if you choose. I cannot recommend any specific campgrounds because we haven’t used any along that route, but a look in the Big Rigs book will help there.

The brightness of the display is adjustable by the correct sequence of buttons being pressed on the panel. I don’t have it committed to memory but the contol instructions will show it.

We have had tire manufacturers’ representatives at a couple of rallies. When asked about the use of nitrogen they universally and very diplomatically made it clear there was no measurable benefit. If you ever want to see a topic more widely debated than OTR air versus roof airs google nitrogen in tires.
My guess is if it is so good and so important to do then anyone filling tires with nitrogen will first pull a vacuum on the tire to pull out all that bad air. That’s my bias showing through.
As to tire covers, if keeping sunshine off the tires is important, can anyone explain to me why the inside drive axle tires that never see the sun get dry rot? Ditto on the walls of the outside tires towards the center of the coach, ditto air bags, etc. If you want to extend the life of tires the manufacturers are in full agreement that nothing is more effective than driving. The rubber materials used release compounds that contribute to resisting degradation of the tires by the constant flexing from driving.
Absolutely correct the best money ever spent on our coaches is covered shelter, and particularly housing that minimizes temperature swings.

Brian,
I’ve been there several times with good results. I think all you will need is the Vin number, but due to the year, it may be a little more difficult.

Terry – When we had to have the second service truck dispatched – we DID tell them who to call. The problem the first time was that they could only find one servicer/dealer who had the exact tire size that we needed. Since we went ahead and bought that tire from the first company that responded, we had more options the second time around.
