Alex,
Bearing play is good. Tires are almost brand new and have no noticable wear.
Thank you

What does the Steering Stabilizer
Cylinder do? I am trying to track down a steering shake amplified when I apply the brakes at highway speed. Its not brake issue, it feels like a steering issue. It sounds like the steering dampner, but I wanted to dig into it a little deeper with the experts here.Richard

House battery set change sparking when connecting question
Thanks Mike.
So if there are systems live, even though all switches are off or idle, the batteries are being used? Therefore, if the bus is stored for a month or so, I need power connected?
Thanks

House battery set change sparking when connecting question
I have recently obtained a well cared for 1989 Marathon, but the house batteries were dead from sitting for five years after the owner passed away. It has an 8 battery setup, I replaced the batteries, triple checked and marked all of the connections before and verified afterward. I am getting 12 / 24 volts where I am supposed to be getting it.…

Front air system charging up fully in road mode question?
Hi Jerry,
OK, I will get it up on ramps, check all of my connections, and test the ride height valve. I haven’t gotten under it much until lately due to the warnings and it is so close to the ground. Even with backups to supports, I am still uncomfortable. I will purchase some 2×12’s and make some ramps.
Thank you

Front air system charging up fully in road mode question?
Hi Bill,
When my bus is in auto level (Road) mode, the front bags fully inflate now instead of stopping at normal height. The only way to adjust the front back down to level is switch to level low so I can manually adjust the air. That is how my system is set up to operate. The selector you are referring to is a later version than mine, I have…

Front air system charging up fully in road mode question?
I know I have posted several things on this subject with different phases of trying to get my front airbag system operating properly, so in advance thank you for your patience and feedback.
I installed (replaced) a front solenoid that was DOA that is responsible for filling the front airbags through the ride height valve when the key is on,…

Pneumatic bay door supports source?
Thanks Mike, I appreciate the feedback. You were right, I called Prevost and got the standard bay door struts very reasonable from them.

Pneumatic bay door supports source?
Thanks Mike, I just figured they were pretty standard for our coaches and someone had a particular source already to reduce my research.

Does anyone have a source for bay door supports? A couple of mine are starting to get weak and need replacing.

Service Manual source for vintage 1984 Prevost?
Good evening Chad, Now that I have spent several weeks tracking, researching, and talking to Prevost and Liberty, I finally understand the level low and air systems on our vintage coach. I am going to reference the picture on the right you attached for me earlier talking about the ride valve and cut wires on the other valve. Where the wires…

Service Manual source for vintage 1984 Prevost?
Thank you Chad, valuable information. I took the non-working valve apart as best I could to understand some of the inners, it actually came apart and exposed the orifice that I guess opens and closes the air flow?? I have attempted to remove the orifice, but it seems to be stuck. I have found another used valve to replace it with for now,…

Service Manual source for vintage 1984 Prevost?
Thank you Chad. Just for clarification, do you mean change the guts out on the skinner valve? If so, I don’t mind doing that as an option as it would make available parts I have not yet been able to find. I will also look into your other suggestion of a possible later Norgren as well.
Thanks again.
