    Jon,

My concerns have nothing to do with PC and/or ProfitTools, but more with the point of sale and possibility of hacking those systems.

    Jon,

That is where the 30′ stacker comes in, plenty of room for all the “stuff”.

Sorry, could not resist the sharp stick.

    Steve,

The tires came from our local dealer through the FMCA Michelin discount program… details are on here (PC).

The Alcoa wheels came from a guy who bought them for his “project coach” and couldn’t use them. Someone on here probably has a source for the wheels.

We got a lot of our initial info from Kenneth Brewer who experienced a blowout on the front driver’s side which resulted in a lot of body damage to his H. I think it was the drivers side ?! Anyway long story short he replaced his 315s with 365s because of the weight issue on the front of the H series busses.

Hopefully Kenneth will see this and may repost his pictures of the damage. Kenneth was a great help to us with all our questions.

    Hope this helps.

My problem is not the nozzle, new nozzle and no workie. Overtemp switches checked and good, coil checked and good, photo cell cleaned, but no fire. So, I’m suspecting the controller. Anyone have a spare 12v controller, 287-962, for checking, I sure don’t want to buy one if the problem is elsewhere? The new brains are by Spheros and the part number is SG1553/12v.

We should buy one of the Webasto test boxes and then when someone needs it, send it to them, they kick in say 50 bucks and send it back when done. Sort of like renting the test box.

    Robert,

The “certificate” you will get from Alicia explains the process by which a Michelin dealer will work with you to get the discount. It has been our understanding not all dealers will honor the program, but those that do will be doing so at a substantial discount. A lot of our members have bought tires through the program.

30 hours ago I started the engine and used the level low to move the bus up and down and re leveled. Also released and set the parking brake several times, pumped the brake pedal 6 or 7 times. Seems like it helped. The secondary air only dropped 5 lbs and then stabilized. The Aux air dropped to 75 LBS and stopped there. So I still have a leak but not as bad as it was. So Paul’s post above had the right idea. At least it sure seem to help.

If you have two power feeds going through the same current pickup donut you should really take one of them out. It’s unlikely you can determine how much current is going through your inverters in bypass mode to know how much “doubling” of the current you have to correct for.

I would relocate the inverter feed outside th pickup as the most critical AC load number you need to know is the one from shore/generator power. The critical inverter load number is DC amps and I suspect all coaches display that number. Unless your converter requires you to do manual load management while on inverter power, your inverter load is somewhat limited through wiring that limits inverter loads to specific loads. The exception would be things that are plugged into outlets, like hair dryers. In this case, an AC ampmeter isn’t going to do you much good as the inverter or better yet inverter AC subpanel will likely throw a breaker.

Well Jane & I just returned from a trip to go see the coach in person. The coach itself is visually clean and nice and is something that we could both see us in.

Now we have to start getting our arms around the details.

the coach has OTR Air which is Parliament installed which is disconnected and does not work. It has drivers air and 3 roof airs. The belts for the OTR are not on and the pulley on the compressor is loose from the housing. Hasn’t worked in a long time. All other airs work. Comments to making it operational.

New inverters have been changed to Outback power tech. Pure sine wave output. New 8d house batteries 01/10. New genset battery 3/11. New coach batteries 4/12.

manual zip d awnings, manual window shades,

Needs new rubber all the way, Currently has 315’s, what’s the purpose of 365’s and would they fit on this coach and would I want 315 or 365.

The refridgerator is original and works fine. What concerns /cautions should I have.

New front shocks, aqua hot rebuilt recently, tag airbag replaced.

This coach has one potable water tank 140 gallons, one waste tank 140 gallons, with macerator pump discharge and regular discharge? fuel tank 168 gallons.

generator mounted on rubber bushings but not air bags with steel fork lift pockets for removal. 1586 hrs. Service at 100 hour intervals

Coach is Prevost # T5956, Parliament # 96016, is there information that I can get on the coach based on these numbers.

The engine and generator are very clean and show no sign of fluid leakage, and do not show as to be just cleaned up.

The coach seems to hold air well and the owner said it does, rear nor greens replaced. Both.

Prevost service location of choice was Tennessee.

It does have a blender thing mounted in the kitchen counter top, what have people done with that in the counter.

What is the best way to create a value for this, I suspect I have to look at it 2 ways 1) Prevost chassis 2) parliament conversion. If I look at coaches online I see 100k to 200k asking, then how to you define the difference between asking and SOLD. Asking is 129k.

Right now the coach is sitting in grass low to the ground, that’s not good. I can say that this 40′ coach can get down back woods dirt roads based on where it is located, these folks bought a house in the back country in Vt. after spending 7 years touring. Now fighting an unfortunate cancer diagnosis. Super People, which is becoming evident of Prevost People.

Do most people register in their home state, or do a lot of people do Montana type LLC things.

The simplicity of this coach in comparison to newer coaches is recognized as a good thing for this newbie, we can get in at this level and be very comfortable and enjoy it and not feel overwhelmed and potentially exposed not knowing.

Interesting how Vantare does things so different. My Liberty inverter circuit only includes the following:

    Refrigerator

    Microwave

    Coffee Maker

    TV

    Forward Outlets

    Aft Outlets

    Entertainment Center

    Aux Compressor

    Water Pump

Wow! I do have a belt hiding under a guard. The guard does not look too hard to get off. Thanks for pointing out the existence of that belt. I totally missed it.
