Will, how’s your back today? I hope well. I hate moving those things and try not to any more.
I’m curious, was your coach designed for 4 batteries? Given how little most dry camp or otherwise have a need for inverter or DC power I always wonder why most have so much DC battery capacity.

I’m done with my LED tail light conversion. Actually, I’m done twice. I just couldn’t accept the oval trailer light
I selected for the backup lights. Given
my goal was to change the tail lights, brake lights, and turn signal lights to
LEDs, I’m okay with leaving the backup light the Prevost original. There are simply too many straight lights in
the area of the tail lights to introduce the oval lights. I personally like the conversion. I know some may say it looks retro and that
too is okay by me.The video shows the tail lights on and then the 4 way
flashers and then the brake lights. In
my opinion the 2 second brake light flasher makes all the difference in the
world in grapping the attention of the following driver. As I understand these flashers, their flash
rate and flash timer were set based on the most attention getting frequency and
only as long as necessary to capture the driver’s attention.By leaving the Prevost backup light this becomes a simple
conversion for anyone that wants to give it a try. The square LED lights were purchased from www. superbrightleds.com.

Hey Ace, I like it. I may try that myself for a test. Thanks for sharing. I also forgot to ask if your door has the rubber seal like mine does.

I recently pulled into a Casino Parking lot near a number of seated charter coaches on a weekend. I noticed shortly after pulling in that there were 6 DOT dudes with their official hats and windbreakers trolling the parking lot in and out of the seated coachs. It was about two minutes after stopping I saw two of the dudes heading my way and about 15 paces out they stopped, paused, and made a U turn away from me. Obviously they saw I was a private coach and let me be.
Having read your post – I am glad I wasn’t hassled by the govment men, and I am glad I didn’t have any logos or banners strapped on the side of the bus to encourage them to hassle me.

Al,
That was exactly my question. I was taught never to marry them just as the sticker indicates. It has been a debate for some time. However I did go against that and I did marry them a couple months back. I will revert back as suggested and repair independently as needed. Thanks

There are buses for sale that have had good care and maintenance. Some are even rivited together for the duration!
Hint, Hint.
