Also Danny Thompson is running his Dad’s car from the 60’s (updated of course) with a goal of 439. I would like to take my car out there next year and try to run over 200 with it. Was at Muellers yesterday to pay for our new trailer. Front corners of the old trailer were to close to the back of the coach. Last winter I asked Tom what it would take to extend the tongue of the trailer, he gave me a Bravo Trailer brochure. Picked the new up in Bristol, Ind @ Bravo and took it with us to Indy. Had lunch with Tom and Terry Martens at the bowling alley.

I’ll bet I could get all the information I need off my flip phone, but do I have to turn it on?

Amen to that, Jack.
As much as I would like adaptive braking, fire suppression, multiplex electrical systems, TPMS internal to the wheel, anti skid, etc. the compromises exceed the needs. But the range you cited is approaching the 10 year mark and that number has broad reaching influence on financiers, dealers, converters, buyers, etc.

Clifford,
Couldn’t find a copy of the bulletin 134C on the internet so I have requested it from Detroit.
Bill,
I drove my 8V92 like I stole it and I could never exceed 1100 on the pyros with the most agressive max HP hill climbs. If you are running 1200 plus my guess is your fuel / air ratio is on the rich side which theoretically should give you greater HP than standard because you are getting closer to peak EGTs but if your air is choked off compared to what it should be you may be running less HP, but at a richer mixture.
I still wish we had limitations available to all of us beyond the sketchy information we currently have.

My friend Chuck races in the Trans Am series out of Rockford, Ill. He uses his own 30’/32′ enclosed trailer. Last year was pulling it with another friend’s Freightliner Class 8 toterhome. Lost a tire, didn’t feel it. Lost the second one, by the time they were alerted to the problem this is all they were looking at!

The Kentucky Horse Park is electric and water only with a fairly convenient dump station at the entrance.
Beware: Some of the sites are very off level, and I mean significantly sloped. Also, unless they did a lot of tree trimming last year, you may need to take your chain saw with you.
You can find an acceptable spot, assuming you have a fair number to choose from. On busy weekends, you may be out of luck. It is hard to tell which spots are level and which are not from the pictures on the website.
I really don’t consider it big rig friendly. If someone knows exactly which spots are acceptable, then you could reserve it with a little more confidence.

OK folks, step up to the plate and see how well you do on the knowledge test.
But regardless of your knowledge test score what is important is how well you do when it really counts, and that is doing the pre-trip brake test. For your own safety learn how to do the pre-trip brake test, learn the consequences of not meeting the standards for the brake test, and understand what your gauges are telling you.
You may not need that commercial license, but if you are going to drive a vehicle such as our coaches, at least know how to drive as a professional.

Mine is located just right of center and above the engine. Not sure about your H-3.
