Got to believe that when you go in. Wether it be a new 2 mil$$$ coach or a 4 thousand$$$ vintage shell. It is a life style and like all other hobies cost $$$$. I would not be in it for resale–prob give it to kids to use. The one now will prob never be sold. Just passed around or scrapped. It’s all about the build! Learning something new every day..solving problems!

I had this happen to me on the second time we drove our coach. Same situation heavy stop and stop traffic very high the temperatures. In my case I had no where to pull over because it was a construction zone. It was Route 4 Florida as soon as we got moving tire temperatures dropped pretty quickly. The tire pressures were fine and the tire looked fine. I hope the tires are okay!!!

Yesterday Bill told me to do the following test, which I did this morning and the result was that we are now inverting with 124 volts on leg two, and 108 volts on leg one.

The test:

1) turn off the breaker for charger one and for charger two.

2) turn off both inverters at the remote panel.

3) turn off the breaker for the inverter/ converter, in my case, located in the house battery compartment behind right tag.

4) wait five minutes (for diodes to bleed down).

5) turn on the breaker from 3).

6) turn on both inverters from 2).

7) load the circuits.

result noted above.

Mr. Liberty has helped me so many times over the years that I should pay him whatever he wants to be a presenter at one of our seminars.

Jeff: I did the test of turning on the microwave fan and then meter testing the outlet below it on invert mode. Result was the fan runs normal and meter says 110 volts at the outlet even though the volt meter on the control panel was showing 108.

try resetting or turning water pump breaker off then back on. If you have a leak anywhere – the pump will shut off sometimes without tripping the breaker. Worth a try…as happened with me with my cullingan water treatment system…

Thanks, Tom. I have had over 8 years of great service from the generator. It is one thing I have had NO problems out of until now. Things do pick the most inconvenient times to act cantankerous.

Great to know that the Prevost Bus can handle tight turns at altitude!

We’ll be in the Rockies from Colorado to Montana the next couple months and are looking forward to the cooler temps, especially after the 100+ degree heat in Kansas.

The Porsche event was at Jay Peak, Vermont, a ski resort located about five miles from the Canadian border. Nine hundred Porsches signed up,1800 people. This was the sixty-first annual Porsche Parade (1955). The longest continuous participant in attendance was fifty-one years. Mark Porsche, the youngest son of the 911 designer and grandson of the founder was one of the speakers.

Fixes subject to memory:

1) Replace screechy fan wheel under dash.

2) Replace RF air bag, the only one I had not replaced myself.

3) Remove drive axle hydraulic shocks that were designed to hold the back up when lifting tag axle (a system no longer in use).

4) Replace tag axle lift arms that were rubbing on air bags at road height, with shorter arms.

5) Replaced one tag axle lift chamber that was smaller than the other with one of equal size.

6) Remove and reinstall 208 gallon plastic fuel tank to replace leaking gasket on top and provide necessary access to do 7).

7) Replace one inch leaking aeroquip hose from condenser bay to evaporator bay that was not compatible with r134a.

8) Replace smaller aeroquip hose in condenser bay not compatible with r134a.

9) Replace expansion valve in condenser bay.

10) Replace expansion valve under dash.

11) Replace dryer filter in condenser bay.

12) Replace low side compressor hose not compatible with r134a.

13) Drain and replace compressor oil.

14) Charge with 24 pounds of r134a.

15) Replace coolant level sensor due to intermittent check engine light.
