If you compare weight and pressure charts from multiple tire manufacturers you will see the pressures are identical or very close to identical.

I’m surprised Toyo doesn’t have charts.

They have windshields in Mira Loma Ca near Riverside, Don’t want to drive bus down there so we will be in SUV down in Huntington Beach 1st part of April so me and my brother will drive from his house 45 miles, I will order and pay before we drive over there just to be sure, If I have a problem installing, We are going to Angles Camp in June so I can swing by Hayward Ca on the way to Angles Camp and let them do It, Me and Brian my youngest son did 2 last time so hopefully we can do another.

I replaced both of mine myself in 2022. Took less than 1 hour for both.

I cannot speak to the availability or cost, but can say if you get a replacement it is a 20 minute job to replace one.

The windshields for an XL left or right are the same. Pull the cord from the gasket and use a plastic flat strip between the glass and the gasket to work the glass out.

Use soapy water or some appropriate lubricant and push the replacement glass as deep as possible into the gasket, usually the center and bottom of the opening, and then use the plastic strip to work the gasket around the remainder of the glass.

There is a tool that makes replacing the cord in the center of the gasket, but if you cannot get one a flat bladed screw driver and patience will do the trick.

You are definitely in the driver’s seat, especially with cash in hand. That puts you at the top of the list to get a seller’s attention.

Banks are adverse to financing what they consider and “old” RV, most never realizing the true value of a Prevost conversion, regardless of age.

I’m not familiar with Marathon, but my Li and chassis batteries can never merge.

I have a single 50DN, but power to the batteries is via an isolator so the two battery banks see the same charging current (27.7) but the Li batteries are all 24V with Victron 24 to12 converters.

    Huh?

The sensor is at the top if my memory is correct. The oil level is well below that mounting point, and just above the point where it will spill into the hub.

If the differential needs to be flushed to remove crud wouldn’t the solvent or flushing liquid need to be excessively over filled, something which requires a modification to the fill hole in the pumpkin using some plumbing fittings to raise the inlet well above the current opening?

You can’t drive the coach with flushing liquid in it so how do you get the necessary agitation to remove and carry crud away?

The fact that the sticks & staples DP will need the same maintenance is why I posed the question; salespeople really lose my respect when shoveling fear and doubt assuming I’m not going to dig; maybe enough people fall for it that’s why they do it.

I’m good with a wrench and have built a few engines during my life so the hands on maintenance doesn’t scare me and it’s good to hear about readily available parts from Prevost. I’ll be chatting with Clint (from here) this weekend about his buying and owning process and thanks to all of you I confirmed the RV show sales guys were full of…it.

I’m planning about 3-4yrs out to be ready to buy and figure it may take 18mos to find the right Prevost coach. Then I get to buy new tools! Super duty jack stands, super duty sockets and impact wrench and torque wrench. By that tiume we’ll have found a retirement home in TN, NC or SC if we go south or MT or CO if we go northwest. How’s that for choices?

    Thanks again, folks!!!

Yes, we can talk tomorrow, Dash Heat from the engine would be chassis related. Sitting in the seat, down by your right shin you will have 4 knobs, Heat/Defroster/ Vent/Recirc and the there will be a heat and fan speed knob. If your engine is up to temp and you are not getting any heat, make sure the valves are open on the drivers side of the engine in the engine bay between the radiator and engine block. There are going to be 2 or 3 of them, mine has 3.

Thanks Don, this helps to have! Fighting my aux system bleeding down quick. Fixing leaks as I find. Lots of soap and water so far. I think I need to get to my aux tank and check the check valve next. Appreciate the info!

The SquareD Pumptrol 120vac pressure switch is “adjustable”.

I keep mine adjusted to turn on (close the 120vac circuit) at 30 psi, and turn off (open the 120vac circuit) at 60 psi.

This works for me & my bus and its aux system accessories.
