Hi we also owned a U320 before our Bus, I really liked our Foretravel It was a great rig, I still talk to the new owner from Evens indiana and he loves it. This is our 2nd Prevost 1st before Foretravel was a 1980 Liberty and after Foretravel is a 97 Royale. After owning both coaches the Prevost is way better built like a tank. Have you serviced the dryer on Bus yet? I will get a drip of oil out of wet tank some times when I check it but after wet tank dry. When we bought the Royale the dryer was in bad shape, I serviced it then I finally replaced it with a new dryer Bendix 89D. System is clean now everything works great. Like I said I get a little oil residue out of wet tank but after that clean,I’m not going to worry about it.

If I understand correctly OTR is a big compressor run by the engine and cools ice cubes going down the road. What do you do when parked in a campsite?

Try unplugging then plugging back in the data cord to the remote display. This might reset it. Good luck.

@Liam, thanks for that detailed write up, very helpful. Much appreciated.
I’m not new to bus ownership, have owned 3 Wanderlodges – 2 of which I currently own – although one is for sale. 2 of the 3 were S60 powered coaches and one with a HWH slide. So I’m pretty comfortable with complicated non-supported systems.
Having said that, my quest for a Prevost is simply for better ride/drive quality and support. I’m fortunate that I have a bus barn with a pit and can do much of the servicing myself, but as I get older I would like to have the option to drive it the 20 minutes to Jeff’s and let the professionals do it.

If you are a big TV fan then replacing the crankup Batwing antenna with a new Batwing antenna is your best choice. Our new to us coach had the old Concorde antenna (terrible antenna) replaced with the Winegard dome TV antenna. The Rayzar Automatic # RZ-8535. Rayzar Automatic
It is a pretty good 2nd choice. This is NOT omni-directional (i.e. works poorly in all directions) but rather has a directional antenna inside that rotates to locate the antennas and automatically point there. You do a scan at each new location just like you do on your TV and only take the press of one button and then about 2-3 minutes for it to make it’s scan.
I placed the antenna on the center roof line and added the mount which raises the antenna about 12″. This was only necessary because we have roof airs and I did not want them to block the TV signal on its way to the antenna. If you have Cruisairs and little on the roof, this would not be necessary.
Level is important, however, to keep the antenna rotating on a level plane.

You would cry if you saw frontier town now. The big A-frame building is abandoned and only the general store complex along RT9 seems to exist and is a big flea market on the weekends.
The brewery under construction in the news clip looks like this now.
I found an old postcard photo of the general store.

Soap and water. If you really want to protect them from the effects of aging, drive the bus a lot.
If you want to look pretty, but possibly harm your tires use tire dressing.
Here’s a question for Camping World tire cover buyers: If covering the tires with some kind of cloth or canvas cover prevents effects of aging due to sun, why to the inner drive tires age also, even though they never get sun exposure?

Hi Robert,
Glad to see you are taking things in stride – while using and enjoying your coach! It helps us keep perspective.
FYI – we are finally taking delivery tomorrow of our coach from Austin (Olympia Luxury Motorcoach)! You’d hardly recognize it…nearly everything on the interior has been 2021 replaced! It looks Amazing and all systems are operating properly.
Can’t wait to get to drive it tomorrow!

Luc: Even if Prevost spends seven hours inspecting the coach top to bottom, bumper to bumper I would NOT expect a Prevost shop to inspect the house side of the coach. I don’t expect the Prevost shop to have the experience, expertise, and knowledge to do that. Keep that in mind and figure out how you’re going to satisfy yourself about the house side of the coach.
During the inspection process would be a great time to start a fluid sample analysis program; engine warmed up and easy to warm up the generator. Take oil samples from the Detroit Diesel and generator, take coolant samples from the Detroit Diesel and the generator, and take a lube sample from the Allison transmission.
Amsoil has a series of kits depending on what you’re sampling and a really slick little pump that makes taking the samples very easy. Pricing is reasonable and the turn around is fast.

Auto-start to me is abuse of inverters and batteries.
Except for the older 3 transformer inverters, the A/C start and stop current draws are hard on inverters. To add to that we pay hundreds of thousands if not millions for luxury and comfort, and then we go down the road with just the front of the coach cool because we cannot run all our A/Cs on inverters.
Start the generator and load it up. The generator is not going to get glazed cylinder walls by loading it heavily, and its life is going to be in the 30,000 to 40,000 hour range. Those generators are meant to run hard and often.
Inverter energy is not free. The alternator is being seriously loaded, and the engine is putting power into running the alternator. It take energy to keep those batteries charged.
Just start the generator and let it sip its less than 1/2 GPH while you enjoy every comfort and luxury the coach has to offer.

Robert, I have the same problem when I turn off my monitors when in storage to keep the Headhunter air pumps from running. When I reactivate the Headhunter system it trips a breaker after about 5 seconds. It appears that all of the air pumps stating at once causes the problem. Fortunately the breaker reset solves the problem.
