Jon, I do understand where you are coming from, I’m a ‘driver’ as I really enjoy it.
Driving the Continental today (125 mile drive), I let the cruise adjust to the people coming in from the on-ramp on the interstate. I could disengage the cruise but I just let the car do it’s thing. While I’m driving, I’m fully aware of what the car is doing and watching it closely. It’s a very smooth operation.
I also like the lane keeping feature. It’s not that I swerve all over the place but driving some of the back country roads, it’s just extra safety.
The car can detect a vehicle slowing in front of you without the cruise control on. A couple of times someone has cut in front of me over the last couple of weeks. The control sensor flashed a big red light-bar on top of the dash and a loud warning signal.
I really like the back-up safety mechanisms ‘just in case’.
I decided to get rid of our old 1964 antique car earlier this year (owned 18 yrs.) because it had absolutely no safety features whatsoever (not even seat belts). I wasn’t worried so much about my driving, as you have mentioned, the morons out there driving being very distracted concerned me.
Safe travels,
Mark

If your pump is 110v Grundfos, the Walrus brand TS-800 is almost plug and play and many hundreds of dollars cheaper than the Grundfos MQ-45. Just google residential booster pump.

Just some free advice………..That valve is intended to either open a path for regulated air pressure to enter the belt tensioners, or to close that path and block regulated air pressure while opening the path for air to exhaust from the tensioners.
If the air stops leaking you do not know at that point if you are keeping air flow to the tensioners or if you are just blocking air flow to the tensioners and the exhaust. The huge mistake would be to go to the center position because if air flow to the tensioners is blocked then as they leak down the belts are going to go slack and the fan will stop spinning.
The free advice is this……fix it Harry. The leak is likely driving you crazy so find it and fix it but don’t think you can cure it by using the valve in a manner never intended. Unless of course you like learning stuff the hard way.

Are you hooked up to shore power? If so, could it be that the shore power is cycling off and on confusing the inverters? What is your house battery voltage when the inverters turn off?

Where are you right now…

Could it be because the batteries are old and need replaced? Inverter #2 the panel will start flashing over load when I flip on the charger #2 breaker. But charger #1 remains on with no issues. I will post pics of the panel and inverters.

Hi Joe, I was surprised how long the hissing air lasted. If it is the cylinder you mentioned, shouldn’t I be able to feel the air being expelled with my hand? I know you can’t always identify where sounds come from, but it sounded like it was coming high above the engine and to the rear.
If I read your post correctly you’re saying it’s not of great concern?

Harry, the Jake won’t shift to a lower gear if it is not programmed that way. Many folks on PC prefer to not have the transmission downshift, so they have to manually downshift like manual transmission equipped trucks have to do to get any braking action out of the Jake. The lower the gear, the more braking you get out of the Jake. You should be able to hear the Jake when it engages, especially if you are next to a wall or in a tunnel.

We have a bunch of Drone footage coming, but here’s a birds eye view of our Seminar buses at ETLC.

Thanks Jon! I am up for the adventure. Just want to do my best to stay ahead of the curve.

Tim, couldn’t agree more and, in fact, have put a shut off valve in line (are you listening Jon?) as I put things back together. Took the advice of B and left diode in circuit. If any more trouble, will shut off the air to the bed totally with that valve and use those struts. The whole thing seems over engineered – but so do many other things on these coaches. I am a KISS person. Thanks to all for commenting. Appreciate the input. Mike

Jon, not all of the time, just while in storage and with both the 12v dc and 24v dc disconnects open.Andy
