Now, with Suoer Singles do we call 18 wheelers, 10 wheelers ?

There will be much confusion at truck stops. Go ask a trucker to move his big over the road “10 wheeler”.

There is a time delay relay that controls the contractor. There are two in the breaker enclosure. One is for the shore power and the other for the gen set. You can interchange them until you get a replacement.

    Gary,

This is going by memory so consider the answer as close, but not precise.

Very early 90’s for the first H3 conversions. I do not know when the first H3 seated were introduced.

The Series 60 was a 94/95 introduction and the first on conversions I believe was in the 45 foot XL with the Allison 5 speed. When the World transmission (our current 6 speed) became available all XL coaches were fitted with the Series 60. The five speed transmission was too long to be used with the Series 60 in 40 foot coaches, but the 6 speed was shorter and that allowed the combination to be used in all coaches.

If Prevost is on board maybe someone there can answer.

I don’t know if the Prevost folks are monitoring the site yet, but I am not aware of any in my experience that did not have a tag lift on the tanbdem axle coaches.

Since the tag is not driven I suspect it is necessary to be able to lift it to add weight to the drive for traction and lifting the tag does make a slight difference in the turn radius also.

    Tom,

If you loop the white wire from the transformer back through the transformer you can change the output signal thus changing the reading on the gauge. The link below likely explains it better than me.
