Craig, it might be faster to buy one of the round air compressors you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.
Reason being, most buss compressors or aux compressors are set to shut off at 125 lbs +/- and most of the buss tires require 90 +/- in drive and tag and 110 +/- in the drives.
These figures are just averages and each coach has different values but I was never able to inflate my tires to the needed pressure because the aux coach compressor will not put out the volume to inflate the tires.
It can be done just takes a long time unless you have made preparations for more pressure or volume.

I wrote back to Open Road and asked for clarification. It could have been 800 gigs. I can never figure out which is which. But it still gets throttled back. What we have now does not. We use it on our I Pads, phones, and TV’s.

Don-
I don’t have one, so I will take them to the auto store and have them tested.
They did charge up to 100%. They had worked well every time I started the bus, but life got hectic and didn’t start it for 4-5 weeks, so just wanted to top them off.
Thanks

Got a 2nd charger.
I hooked them up positive to positive, negative to negative on the top and bottom batteries on the right side. Getting quite a difference in charged readings. 85% on top charger 32% on bottom charger.
Is that normal?

new info: I had been using a soapy water mix to ck for leaks for years.. Problem is some got into coil bore and rusted. I cleaned out with small bottle brush and they worked… I have 5 new ones coming! lesson learned! What is the purpose of the red caps on the armature?

Our 1997 CC came with an extensive set of manuals. The chassis manuals are in eight or so thick binders forming (from likely inaccurate memory) about 16 to 18 linear inches os shelf space. There also was a 50 or so page Prevost controls manual and a 200 or so page CC house manual. If there are specific things you are interested in I can take pics and email them but it would be way too try to copy them all. Your best bet would be to contact the various Bus Nuts clubs and see if anyone has a set from a scrapped bus. Also, try the CC clubs in your area.

Ralf:
You have been quite and not posting lately. Kind of figured you got deeply involved in the windshield project.

Hey Don, the link you provided is dead. My Coach still has the old Tag Axle Logic. 96 H3-45 chassis. I absolutely hate it! At some point, I will update the Logic. Thanks.
