Jon.
We have not had any warning lights on the dash throughout this matter, nor any irregularities with the volt/amp gauges on the dash.Over the years the GFI’s have tripped for seemingly frivolous reasons and am not surprised they trip while doing some of these tests.
The little green pilot lights on the breakers in the control panel are not a reliable indicator in my case because some of them are burned out. Such as the one for the frig which has never stopped working.
I need to do some more tests with loads on leg one and loads on leg two to discover a pattern.
We’re in Denver now sittin plugged into 50 amps for ten days visiting our son and the mountains.
Expect to have more test results tomorrow, thanks for everyone’s time.

Good job Dick.. If your water heater is the standard Raritan that Liberty used, keep your eye out for any leaks and if it starts to grow (expands in height) change it out. I had to do 2 of them.

Its an 1986 Prevost on Ebay, Graigslist in Eugene, OR to name a few sites. He started out asking $42 K and is down to $33.5 K. I’m just watching. I tried to call the guy and talk but he’s not the nicest chap I have ever spoke with.
It’s a bit rough but has a great interior, not much other info. I would have to buy it worth the money and there is so many unanswered questions. He bought it from an insurance company and is a dealer.

Dale,
The link is not important, just say which unit that are looking at along with the site that it’s on.
We can figure out how to find it. Just give us some info.
Good luck on your search.

Not sure if I’ll be able to do this Alaska thing this year because of some health issues. However I hope this thread will stay open by those who are interested in doing it. If not this year maybe next year.
