Featherlite 4926
Posted by jack on November 27, 2015 at 4:23 pmHas anyone towed a Featherlite tapered nose trailer.I am wanting to verify that there is enough clearance between the nose of the trailer and the rear of the coach. From the floor plan online there is 29 inches from the ball hitch to the corner of the trailer when it is coupled straight, but I am asking when turned as tight as possible is this enough clearance?

Jack: Buying new or used? Our original race trailer (the one you saw at Indy) interferred with the corner of the coach. So I bought a new Bravo and ordered it with a 60″ tongue. Straight nose. Now all I have to worry about it putting the bumper of the coach up against the tongue rails when I’m not paying attention in a tight turn or backing up. Highly recommend Bravo.

The 4926 has 60 inches to the corner with a tapered nose,I think it will work with some additional space in the trailer..

We have been using the same trailer for several years. You will love it.

I picked up my new trailer yesterday and it is exactly as I ordered it with 7000 pound. axles and the D rings are 19 feet apart.I weighed it today,it is a 28 foot trailer that has a 7 foot inside height and it weighed 3780 pounds which is more than 200 pounds less than estimated before the increase in axles and height.I can’t believe it is less than half the weight of the truck that I towed it with to the truck stop.

Looks “stealthy”. Nice trailer Jack. Was it built in Cresco Iowa?

we just picked up our new Factory Transports stacker trailer. It is a dream to pull! Ted Moody at Factory Transports builds the stacker trailers to match your coach height, it also has 22.5 wheels and tires and air ride suspension. Our Factory Transports stacker trailer lets us haul 2 cars, a side by side or golf cart etc. Ted Moody and Factory Transports did a terrific job!! We are proud to pull this beauty…
