Billy, If your bus is like mine, that single pressure switch on the receiver/accumulator opens the condenser fan circuit when/if pressure drops to 90 psi . When pressure climbs back up to 120 psi the circuit closes and the condensor fan runs again. This will happen in low ambient temps with the 3 position AC/OFF/HEAT dash switch in the AC position.

    x2 what Zmax73 said.

We have everything except the Prevost covered by State Farm too. I’ve known our agent since grade school. She can’t do an agreed value policy.

We’ve been with The Miller Agency/National General for the Prevost since we bought it 6+ yrs ago. Our annual premium has increased 130% in those 6+ yrs. I’m 62 yrs old. No wrecks, no tickets, no claims, 800+ credit rating. Our daily driver premiums haven’t gone up half that much.

It sucks, but my personal health insurance has increased by a lot more than 130% in the same period of time. Again no claims, etc.

And they say we live in deflationary times? Not in my world.

Zmax73, where can we find this part time insurance we can turn on and off?

Hello nameless post. I too talked with state farm whom I have all the stuff you mentioned with them. However, they first indicated in a complete total loss they would research Kelly BB, then Edwards for coach value ( not agreed value). When I quite laughing I explained he first would not find Prevost there, second with all due respect you don`t know what you`re talkin about.

Conclusion be very careful so you don`t get surprised if you ever need a claim.

I believe since most people don`t use their Bus year around and maybe house it at your home, part time coverage may be an answer. You`ll still be fully insured as long as you`re not driving and activate full coverage when traveling.

Look at Kentucky Horse Park. They have a RV park. Not sure if they have any pull through sites. It’s just on the north side of Lexington, right off of I-75

I’m not confused at all. Perhaps your lack of knowledge of the DD series 60?

Anything is possible, but because a system like that involves so many of the bus systems and likely requires the multiplex system my guess is it would be cheaper to buy a bus with it.

Or just don’t tailgate, pay attention and slow down.

Maybe there is an app for a smart phone. Tom would have one on his.

Thanks. Haldex rep reached out and gave me a phone number. I will call this afternoon and post.

This is on the Haldex dryers now used by Prevost and has the integral governor.

wrote a lengthy post then lost it. basic the air is routed from front to left hand norgren valve (located just in front or rear end on back of last bay wall Acesable from under neath)it tells wether to use leveling valves or let you choose ride height. choosing travel mode routes air either to leveling valves Mechanical fear left -right and front must run thru this port. If you select manual set=directs all air to norgren that control each indivual air bag set front up down rear right up down and rear left up or down. Your problem by deduction would be a problem with the isolation of the leveling valves supply after norgren valve. prob bad line or one of three mechanical leveling valves(all after) supplied air from front stack in lower steering compartment.. In articles section top of page select level low article with pictures… Bob spell ck not working —-

If anyone actually gets invited to enter the Knoxville rolling meat locker, take appropriate clothing, it will be 63 degree’s and poor Di will be wrapped in a blanket.

    Dick,

TSD can send you a daily discount price for various stations. I ask for a sample of Loves and Pilot.

I checked the discount diesel price at all VA Loves and found it varied from $2.399 to $2.499.

I called Gina and ask how we would know of a particular stations price? She said that as an active card holder you will receive an email each day showing their stations discount fuel price. So when you card is activated, watch your email.

So is the current plan going away? What is the process to leave the current program?

    We’ve had similar situations.

The first time was on our first trip to Florida when on a cloverleaf a stereotypical Florda couple was in an older Mercury Marquis trying to merge on a short merge ramp onto the Interstate. I had cars in the left lane. When I realized the car wasn’t going to check up and try to fall in behind me and was running out of merger ramp next to the front bay … I laid on the air horn. The last glimpse I had of the Mercury was of it running down the shoulder and headed for the shallow ditch.

I’ve made a conscious decision to liberally use the air horn when a merging vehicle appears to be unaware of what’s going on. I’ll move to the left when its open. But when its not I don’t have much option other than to keep going and use the horn. I’ve decided that slowing down when the vehicle is next to me is a mistake; they get the horn. If a slow moving vehicle gets in front of me and I can’t move to the left I have to slow down (with a long air horn).

Well, the check engine light is on continuously and each time I check it, it’s the Code 53. But I do check just in case some different code shows up. The counter man at a Detroit Diesel facility told me “it’s probably just the ECM battery”. So I asked for a battery so I could change it, and he said “no, you can’t do it” but they would do it for $1,000. Scouting around on YouTube, I found out what battery is in the ECM (photo attached). Assuming I could actually find such battery, has anyone in the PC group ever changed their own ECM battery? Or is it more complicated than that?
