    Jack,

Are your Cruiseair compressors still available? If so do you know what but they are I.e. 12,500 or 14,000? Thank you.

We just started using an Irwin Quick Grip clamp on the oem amana side by side door handles in August. It’s not elegant, but it does a good job and we hide it when someone comes over. The Liberty design succumbed going over Teton Pass.

Hands free CB, now I heard it all. Every time hey keyed the mike in the background I could hear the Lennon sisters. Jeff was in the lead and was like a raped ape having to stick to 62 mph to keep ole grumpy happy. Plus Kim is with him and he can’t smoke in the bus, so talk about being wound up.

Here’s a couple pics of the holding area, we’re dry camping tonight.

My temps have always stayed in the 190 to 195 range. No matter what the outside temps were. It was not until we departed Arkansas and drove to Dallas that the temps rose from around 195 to 210 to I guess 218. Outside temps were in the upper 50’s

After we changed to the new fan clutch, new thermostats and sending unit we drove to Livingston Texas. My temps once again rode up to the 195 to 210+ range. Outside temps were around 65. The temps rode up and down. This tells me my clutch is engaging. And the water pump is doing it’s job. We have no charging issues with the Delco Remy.

Jon, Shell Rotella ELC NF is on the Detroit Fluids Specification 93K217 Approved Coolants List. I double checked.

I shall run a blank water filter as suggested. I really hope this puts my system back to its normal temp range.

The pin switch is the ground for the light circuit on the switch panel.

Hey Chip, the switches ground is tied to the plunger type switch on the bay door frame work. The little round pin switches that push in an out as the bay door makes contact, when the door closes or opens the circuit when the door opens.

Wiggle the pin around and clean where the wire crimped on the end of the pin is making good contact with the metal bracket the pin makes contact with.

If that is not it there are two 5 volt power supplies soldered onto the mother board inside the ECC cabinet. You would need to remove the plastic cover on the cabinet and remove the wing nut and swing the mother board out to see the backside where the power supplies are soldered onto the board.

There is a very small wire coming out of the top and one out the bottom of the power supply that are soldered onto the board. All the vibrations in the cabinet while driving cause the little wires to break and lose contact with the board, there fore no lights.

Also in reference to your switch positions, on my CC I think, this is the switch call outs, from memory now.

    Left to right.

    1 Water Pump

    2 Fresh Water Drain

    3 Left Curb Lights

    4 Right Curb Lights

    5 Black Tank Drain

    6 Gray Tank Drain

The switch that had the protective cover on it on mine was the black tank drain.

The labels that go inside the cover of the switches I have no idea.

Might email Miles Circo and see if he has any in all the stuff he got from CC.

    Hi Tom,

That would be helpful wouldn’t it? I remember seeing “Marine Power Flush Toilet” somewhere but assume that’s a generic reference and not specific. I’ll look on the back of the toilet and see if it says something there?

    Thanks

    Art,

Try not to confuse the apples with the oranges.

First unless you can tell us which specific tires are on your coach we cannot tell you the tire rating. You can get that information right from the tire manufacturer’s web site and from the web site you will learn the rating is going to be as a single tire at a specific pressure with the maximum rating given at a pressure with lesser pressures having lower ratings. Additionally the manufacturer will provide different ratings if the tire is used in a dual set up.

That’s the apples part of the question.

The other part represented by the oranges is what the allowable weight per axle will be. That is determined by Prevost and in every instance it will be less than the tire’s maximum weight. For example you might have 315 tires on an axle rated for 14,000 pounds which means the tires should not ever see weights greater than 7000 pounds each.

But regardless of the fluff written above you have to weigh your coach, per axle and use the axle weights to determine the weight on each tire. Then you have to refer to the manufacturer’s tire pressure chart for your tire size to determine the pressure the tires will require based on the weight they carry.

Generally, (but based solely on the tire type) a 315 tire is likely to have a maximum weight rating of around 9000 pounds but as Will said what you really need to know is not what they are rated to carry, but how much are they actually carrying, and then how much pressure should be in the tires based on that weight.

Nope Harry the motor had nothing to do with our decision. I miss the less complicated 8V-92. We changed exhaust gaskets and manifolds ourselves. I also miss the solid beam front axle less tire wear!

Here are items that checked the boxes:

Box 1. All five side windows unobstructed view. The Beaver Bus only had three Le Mirage windows in living room

Box 2 From the first time we saw “Bronze Ribbon Mahogany laminate we loved it

Box 3. Generator exhaust thru roof

Box4. Had true Tech Link electrical that Techlon in PA would work on. No crestron Although we miss the switches and relays of the Beaver I was trying to find amid nineties Marathon that had no computer

Box 5. Cruise airs had heat pumps, no rooftop units for us

Box6. Larger water tanks than Beaver, plus twin hotwater heaters

    Box 6 Generator on airbags

Box 7 Single sheet metal roof

Box 8. Awning tip out windows

Box 9 40 footer and no slides, rivets only

    Box 10. Floorplan
