Interesting how we unhook or hook up in different manners.

I am the guy that is happy to leave the RV park at O dark thirty so I don’t even start the engine until everything is unhooked and I am ready to pull out. If I cannot pull out with the toad hooked up, I also have moved it to where I intend to hook that up.

I fire up the engine when everything is disconnected and with the suspension in the driving or road height like Mark I wait for the “sneeze”. Then the slides come in and I start moving ASAP.

I turn it off when I get situated on the site, mostly because when I am connecting everything I don’t like the noise of the engine next to my ears, or the exhaust blowing on my pants leg if the utilities are near the pipe. The only variation when hooking up at a site is if I run the slides out first, or get hooked up and then put the slides out and it usually depends on where the utilities are located. If I may have to adjust the coach position I usually leave them in, but if everything is all in sight and near one another I will run the slides out before shutting down.

Next morning coach cooled down a bit…pushed the buttons, power cord in/ out no issues…pulled all cord out / in couple times, all good…drove for 4 hrs to NY, set up the coach, no power cord issues…
