I am regrettably going to have to remove my name from the list.
May be tied up that week with a business matter and don’t want to take a chance of not being able to come and use a spot reserved for me.
Thanks Tom for handling this No Rally Rally

Time is approaching for those planning on arriving Friday the 18th of August to Driggs Idaho’s Teton County high school.
Chris and I look forward to your arrival but we wanted to impart important information to ensure you are prepared.
Teton Valley (west side of Tetons) and adjacent Jackson Hole is expecting about 1/2 million eclipse gazers to descend onto local communities. This area is bracing for an infrastructure overload including clogged roads, power failures, as well as Internet and cellphone interruptions. Some of this will not affect us since we are dry camping
Please…… make sure your fuel is topped off within 100 miles of Driggs
Water……….make sure your night before arrival you top off your water tank
Dark Water…. make sure your grey and black tanks are empty. There is Teton Valley RV Park 9 miles south of Driggs on the south side of Victor ID, but there will be nine miles of potentially clogged roads to get there.
There are some nice family owned restaurants in Driggs, but with the downtown area hosting a carnival- like atmosphere, dining out maybe a challenge.
So here is our simple intineraryAugust 18-arrival day

Everyone, stopping at the high school today, on our way home from West Yellowstone we encountered some road construction near the high school which will change our approach from the main drag
I contacted the school superintendent but probably won’t hear back until Monday. We will post directions once we firm up a construction time line. By the time of our arrival, it could be completed. -
Jim and Chris
we will most likely be there on the 19th and will bring a table or two.
Greg

We will be in on the 18th and have a 5′ and 2 ea 4′ tables on board. We will be in the Island Park area the week prior, and available to help with any details if needed.
-
Great. We are in Driggs now, having left West Yellowstone yesterday. We will return to Teton Valley RV Park in Victor 8/16. Then move to the high school a.m. the 18th.
-
Mike and Karen are just showin’ off all the extra bay space of a 45 footer. We carry one 4′ table. We’ll be at Snake River RV near/at/in (?) Idaho Falls on the 16th and 17th, planning to be at the school on the 18th. Linda
-
We carry a 6′ table and plan on arriving early on the 18th.
I’m sending an email re the other request.
Looking forward to DARKNESS! -
Just a precautionary note, if anyone is coming from the east on I90 across South Dakota, the Sturgis Rally is starting on the 2nd running thru the the 12th. It’s an absolute zoo going across there, btdt.
The Redhead and I are headed out on the 7th, but taking 80 across to Wyoming then cutting up into northern Idaho before traipsing back down to Driggs.

Rally Update
Heard from the school superintendent about street construction around the high school
Monte saidmthe construction will be “halted” during week of the eclipse. We, and Texas 40 will be traveling together coming up to Driggs and will check out route into Teton High
Also for Dr Dave, it appears in daylight, we will have areas nearby that are in the dark for stargazing.Reminder: There is no alcohol on school property, so folks you must be very careful and not be obvious and use snippy cups or coffee mugs. Red solo cups will be a dead giveaway.
This why we have rented a community room at the senior center for wine tasting.Cheers

We also have a 4′ table and are scheduled to arrive on the 18th.
