If anyone has the tool for inserting the rope in the groove the whole job goes real quick. If you want the job to go easier get some of the lubricant for the window gasket because everything goes together really easy when lubricant or a soapy solution is used.

I always carry the tools to swap these because I’ll never need them in the garage, and have done my own. We’ll just need a spray bottle of slippery water or equivalent. I’m in.

Guess we should have bought a glass. Our passenger side is cracked. Our passenger window has seven inch crack in it. Hasn’t gotten longer since March. Watch and learn.

Greetings from a prevost community newbie. We weren’t sure we were going to make it, but after a week spent at the shop in Lubbock (see roadside emergency thread for details), we are planning to make it up north for the eclipse. I’ve seen some back and forth with folks removing themselves from the list – do you have any last minute vacancies?

If not, we’ll start calling rv parks along the route.

    Thanks!

Cheef, friends of ours, Wayne and Sandy have had to cancel. I’m not in charge, but I bet you can use their spot.

    Jim & Chris,

We are in Island Park, ID north of Driggs doing Yellowstone. A few days ago we drove down to Driggs and found the road contruction all around the entrance to the high school. It looked like the best way in and out was to use the Middle School road from the highway and then turn right to get to the high school. We did talk to a construction dude on site and he said “it should be all clear” for the eclipse weekend. We plan on leaving Island Park early on the 18th. If possible please post the best route in as soon as you determine what that route is. They are also doing some work on the side of the highway near the school so things were congested. See you soon.

    Hi all –

I’ve tried the registration link on my phone, ipad and now laptop, and it just shows logo of the event. We’d love to attend if you still have space. We wouldn’t arrive until the weekend since we have to grab the kids from Salt Lake. Most likely Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning.

Sounds like there have been a couple of recent dropouts – we’ll keep our fingers crossed and plan to head your way. Please let us know if there’s contact info for someone we can call or email directly.

    Thanks!

Must be on your end Cheeef, works for me…

Don’t think there is any problem with you going, C’Bus will jump in here, but go for it… If you can’t get it to work, e-mail me and I’ll add you manually.
