I hope everyone had a great weekend! Its been raining in Lakeland!! I guess hence the name Lake land? We had a great meeting with Ken Robertson on Friday. He and the Parliament staff are super excited about the upcoming event. One of the things that we did nail down, for those that have asked, Rick and Ben will be attending the event and of course providing what they do best, share their vast knowledge when it comes to your coaches. We are super excited about their involvement and very appreciative to Ken for allowing them to leave their job at Parliament for a few days to join us. I will be fianalizing an agenda shortyly, just have one or two more loose ends to tie up!

Hello PC,

Hope all is well! Just wanted to take a minute to thank a few people Bill and I went to visit yesterday unannounced and were met with posititvity and support!

We traveled to the East Coast and stopped in at Donnie Myers, we were met by Donnie himself, he took time out of his busy day to meet with us. He introduced us to Floyd, and Im pretty sure Bill and I almost left in new coaches, it was close! Its unbelievable the wealth of knowledge these guys have.

We then stopped and visited Rick from Featherlite, who we had met previously. As always, Rick was a great help, he gave us great ideas, since he has organized rallies in the past. We really appreciate all of the help and suggestions, especially to make everyone’s experience that much better!

We then stopped in at Millenium to visit with Nelson, but he was on vacation. We were greeted by Joanne, who was absoulutely great! besides the fact that she has personally visited Carlisle in the past with the family muscle car, she was super excited about the Air and Coach Concours being wrapped up with a great auto enthusiast event and auction.

Anyway, just wanted to say Thank You to everyone, and for those we missed, we will be around in the near future to introduce ourselves. It truly is overwhelming how supportive and knowledgeable the Prevost Community is. No matter what coach you are traveling in, everyone should know that no matter who we visit, everyone has been exceptional, from the coach manufacturers to the owners themsevles!

Greetings Prevost Community!

I hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and your travels have been adventurous and problem free! I can’t believe it is September already, where did the summer go?

Just a quick update from the Air and Coach Concours, Things here are moving at a blistering pace. We have a lot of great items to tell you about. As you may have read in my post, we are happy to have Ben and Rick on board from Parliament as guest speakers. We have also firmed up the Shelby driving experience, which will be part of the entire Autofest, a local country singer will be performing on Saturday night along with a drive-in movie for all to enjoy! Also made available for the entire show will be helicopter rides, and plane rides.

Since the show will be falling on Veterans Day week, we will have 2 cars donated to the Auction, one for Friday and one for Saturday to be Auctioned off for charity with all proceeds benefiting the Wounded Warrior project. Along with this news, the on site Aerospace Academy, which is a High School strictly dedicated to Aviation, has allowed us to utilize their ROTC students to present the American Flag and kick off our auction in observation of those who have served our wonderful Country past and present!

You know as everyone says “save the best for last!!!!!” We are super excited, and pleased to announce, that as of today, we have partnered with the DuPont Registry!

Over the past few months, myself and Bill III have met with Tom DuPont and his team. Mr. DuPont has agreed to move his “Cars and Coffee” event to our show. On Saturday morning November 14th beginning at 7am, prepare to Wowed by more than 400 exotic cars and their owners that will spend the morning with us and rev things up!!!!

Hello PC-this is Bill III

I just wanted to add a few teasers to what Tim has already stated. I apologize about having to be a little secretive, but honestly what I am about to write has not been released yet even with inside the company. This is even the first that Tim has heard any of this.

This week Carlisle Events should be signing a contract to have a very well-known celebrity join us at the event. I have never met him in person, but I have heard that he is a great guy. I cannot mention any names until it is confirmed in writing, but let’s just say “He has a long way to go and a short time to get there”. I was just asked about an hour ago if Tim and I could give up the use of the Cessna building (that is our hospitality area for all of you) for a few hours on Saturday for this exciting event. So that leads me to believe that not only is it going to be front and center to us, but that it really is going to happen.

Did somebody mention the filming of a very popular TV show during the event. Not me!!! Details may also be confirmed this week.

Tim and I have been very focused on the Air and Coach Concours aspect of the event. However, I can assure that over 30 other full-time employees are working hard to make AutoFest an amazing and unforgettable event. You as our guests will have an unlimited VIP and sometimes exclusive front row seat to each and every aspect.

More details and confirmations to follow as soon as I get them…

Everybody that has the time should sign up for this event. It is clearly going to be a fun packed rally where we Prevost owners are going to get superb accomodations, plenty of activities to satisfy everyone, and a great opportunity to get together to meet one another, enjoy seeing a lot of cars, planes and coaches, and enjoy the great Florida weather that time of the year.

It isn’t going to get better than this.

By God, it sure sounds like a great time and a super rally. I had to choose between this rally and racing at Daytona and Daytona won out. We’ll see how the one in Feb. shapes up, but meanwhile we’ll be there in spirit and wishing everyone a great time. Geo.

This sounds like an outstanding event! As a Vet, I really appreciate your efforts in this event, especially the donations going to Wounded Warriors.

My thoughts were to attend the Feb. event since we’ll be in Florida during that time-frame, but maybe we can get down there for November, although I doubt we’ll have our coach by then.

Do you envision any major differences between the Nov. event vs. the Feb. event?

I have just purchased an all event – all access 6 day pass to this rally. If your not bringing your bus this gives you the same access.

There is a long long list of activities included and after going over the list it’s well worth the expense.

We were questioned about the sites and here is the good news.

All coaches will be on blacktop in close proximity to all activities. All coaches will have 50 amp service. We will not have water at the sites but it is available and a “honey wagon” will be available to empty holding tanks.

I sure wish you guys could join us. Funny that you are going to Daytona and I completely understand. A few of my friends are running and I would love to bring one of my Quattros. This event is always on our AutoFest event and I have not been able to attend. Maybe someday. Be safe and I’m sure we will see you at Parliament in January if not before then.

As mentioned you can
enjoy the experience even without your coach, $499 will get you and your guest
the exact same experience minus the coach. Or if you rent a regular RV we can
certainly accommodate you in the general camping area.

If you do not have a coach by November this event should be the perfect opportunity for you to browse and possibly even make a purchase. I anticipate that we will have 10-20 coaches available for sale. If you want to contact us closer to the event I will give you a more accurate account. Honestly, out of all of the dealsers that we spoken with not one has stated that they will not be able to participate. The only issue that we are having is the lack of everyone’s inventory. Both new and used coaches are really starting to move again and the inventory is just not keeping up with the demand. With that being said provided on inventory we should have some very nices coaches for sale all in one place. You also know how word of mouth works in this small community. I personally have looked at several coaches just by striking up a conversation with someone at these types of events.

Remember that one of the
exclusive and in my opinion one of the best features to the AnCC package is
your exclusive bidder registration for the auction. This exclusive and unique
badge and associated number will be yours forever. This will not only give you unquestioned
access to everything in the event, but the bragging rights in years to come
that you have been attending the event since its inception. For example Grant
Miller who is a great friend of ours already has his badge and it is number
ACC005. This may sound trivial to some, but trust me with our long time auction
customers it becomes a desirable bragging right! lol

The November and February events will be similar, but all of our
14 Carlisle Events all have subtle differences from year to year. We would like
to think that we make never ending progress on efficiency and improvements. We
also like to change some of the minor aspects to the event each time that it is
produced to keep it fresh and exciting. Tim and I are both very much looking
forward to our question and answer opportunity Sunday morning of our November
event. We are very confident that even the first time out you will have a
fantastic experience. However, we have been doing this long enough to know that
we can never stop improving. It will be through your thoughts and suggestions
that we will be able to evolve and produce the best events of this kind. Tim
and I actually have a few exciting things that we wanted to put on the agenda
for November that simply will not fit. We would really like to eventually
expand the schedule, but we have to hear from all of you that you will be
attending early enough to do that. So will February be different than November,
the answer is yes and a portion of that depends completely on what you tell us
you want. Come with ideas and we will try to produce them to the best of our
ability.
