Jon,
Thank you so much for
sharing with the group how excited Tim and I are. I was 5 when my father and
his business partner started Carlisle Events. Even as a kid I worked for the
company as much as I could. In the beginning, my Dad would stuff the envelopes,
Mom would seal them and I would lick the stamps for our vendor mailings, all at
the kitchen table. Nothing was better than getting out of school to sell
tickets at the gate or when I was old enough, drive the tram full of guests around
at our events. Today our current schedule consists of 13 yearly events. I can
assure all of you that my time, energy and focus is currently being consumed by
the Air and Coach Concours. From when I was a kid at the Kruse Auctions in
Auburn, Indiana to attending Grant Miller’s Collector Car Auction held every
summer in Lock Haven, PA this event in November will honestly be a personal
dream of mine. Not only is organizing events in my blood, but so are collector cars
and coaches. Some of Tim’s hesitation (and maybe mine, I just won’t show it J) is that this will be
our first event in this new facility. The facility and the staff are fantastic.
Tim and I both lived on site, in the campground at Sun-n-Fun, all last winter.
From dinner at the CEO’s house to happy hours with the many other staff
members, trust me it is a first class organization. As many of you already know,
they hold the second largest Air Show in the world. I am confident that between
Sun-n-Fun and Carlisle Events you will have a very enjoyable and memorable experience
in November and February. Honestly electric is our key concern at this point. Please try
to preregister as early as possible with this in mind. We do offer a full
refund up to 19 days prior to the event and have no issue with you doing so.Jon, I know Tim is going to kill me, but I love a challenge. Bring
on 200 and let’s have a party!Bill III

You heard it folks………Lets get as many PC members to show up as possible. It won’t get any better than this. Coaches, cars and planes.
And don’t forget the free dues.

Tim:
Thanks again for you and Bill’s efforts as when we met in January at the NCRS event in Lakeland, this was in the making and pleased to see it all come together…
I hope we can make the event as great venue and you and Bill have a reputation for putting on first class events!!!
Can’t wait to see Lilly again..
All the best!!! -
Brady, you and Tommy need to come so we have representation from Louisiana at the event. Of course if it interferes with football we know that is going to take priority.
-
Brady needs to bring his beautiful Corvette along! Brady, its great to hear from you. Hope your having a great summer and doing a lot of traveling in your coach. Hope that you can make it to either the November or February events or both. Im not going to be against LSU though, they are always playing late in to the season. Lilly said to say hello to by the way. She’s a strapping 116 pounds and healthy a small horse so the vet says. LOL
Hope to see you soon.

Guys:
Thanks but will be tough during football season and already commited to an AACA event in November so hopefully February works….Great venue and close to town so lots to do in Lakeland in addition to being close to both Disney and Tampa…
-
Thanks to everyone for all the enthusiasm shown for the Air and Coach Concours – When Bill and Tim approached us with their ideas last winter we knew it would be a great event – The Lakeland facility is exceptional and has virtually unlimited resources for future growth – The entire concept of combining cars, coaches, and airplanes in one event seems to be a natural fit – The activities planned will be first class, And lastly, the Carlisle boys really know how to throw a party! Now, with the support of Tom, Jon, and the PC group, we are even more convinced that this will become a Major event – The Parliament Motor Coach team will be there in November and again in February to do everything possible to help make this an event to remember! See you there!

OK boys and girls, it’s time to ramp it up…
Great to hear from Ken on the forum.

It sounds good Tombut I cant seem to find the cost anywhere. Are these old eyes going bad or what?
y the way, we saw “Ted” 2 last week. Sorry to say its not so good. Still love the first one though. -
Red,
Good Sunday morning to you! Your eyes are not failing! LOL If you scroll up to my post on 7/28 and actually click on the information sheet it will take you to a full size version of the sheet. We are currently working with Tom to figure out a more user friendly version for everyone to view. I attemtped to cover most questions, but of course Im sure I missed some, so please do not hesitate to post any questions, email me or Bill III directly or you can always call our cell phones. I will update the sheet as needed, so please check back.
Thank You for your interest and we hope to see you in Lakeland in November.
Safe Travels,
Tim

Good Morning PC
I hope this post finds everyone doing well! I wanted to pass along some exciting news!! We just consigned a 1989 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach. For all of you exotic car lovers, this car was on the cutting edge of design for its time, and this vehicle is probably one of the best representations. Please check out the following link for more information.

As most of you may know or not know, our auction is an everyday persons auction, meaning that we dont typically get vehicles such as this, but obviousy our clients see the potential and our futurte at Lakeland! that is the reason I wanted to pass this along
Talk to you soon
Tim
