Jim, don’t worry about the Ben’s, Jon and Tom will be passing out plenty of PC 100’s,(left over dues money)

Hope you don’t mind their picture on the bills, if you only use them in places that are real busy nobody will notice.

    There
have been questions about the parking compared to November, so maybe
this will help. This information is not to scale or actual number of
parking spots, it’s just an overview. It does not show additional
parking spots or the sales coach location.

    Your
Coach will have approximately 6 feet of the front end on blacktop,
the rear will be on grass. It’s level and will have parking for
your toad or trailer at the rear of the site. The area will be
blocked off to public vehicles and only Autofest vehicles will be
    allowed in our area.

Thanks for the above post Tom. It was great to see you yesterday. Thank you and Tim so much for working on the layout. It looks great and I’m sure it will work out really well.

On another note we will probably have another 10 or so coaches signed up by the close of business today! You and Tim may need a Plan B!!! LOL

    Good afternoon PC,

In meetings all day today although Im going to try and return phone calls to everyone that have called and left messages, I promise I havent forgotten about you guys. I will work on getting the agenda out as soon as possible.

We are meeting about golf carts today for those that will be bringing them so I should have an update soon! Off to the Rolex 24 hour race tomorrow. The response has been overwhelming for the February event and Thank you for everyone who has already signed up, we are going to have a great time!!!!

For those that will be around and looking for something to do Saturday February 6th, Fat Point Brewing (Our beer friends) from Punta Gorda will be hosting an anniversary party! Just give me a heads up if you are interested in going and I will get coach parking arranged. It is sure to be an awesome time!!

Take care and safe travels for now!

I think I know the answer but….looking at the map layout and guidelines I don’t see any reference to golf cart rentals. I think that means they are not allowed or not needed. Is that correct?

Electric scooters are allowed for those who need them and are for rent.

I know some OLDER individuals may need a CRIKET (Jon??) and I fully understand that too.

Just want to make sure if we might need/want a golf cart, are they allowed and if so how is one rented.

Can’t do it unless you can find a rental and then provide a rider with proof of insurance adding Carlisle Events on their policy. Owners with golf carts can bring them subject to the above.

Rent scooters, but do it soon, they run out. BA has two rented so he can tell you who to call.

When we signed up we were asked about what we would be bringing. I told them we would be towing a small trailer with a GEM Car, similar to a golf cart. They did not blink an eye.

Our GEM Car is street legal as a Low Speed Vehicle and licensed/tagged/insured appropriately (tag not shown in the picture below). They did not ask that.

If it’s licensed Les, then your toad permit would apply just like having a car.

hey guys, I just bought my first Prevost and pick it up a week from Wed in Az and driving it back to Nashville, tn.

I see many of the owners are car guys. I’d love to try and make the show if not this winter show. What’s the normal turn out number wise in cars?

I tend to buy, sell and trade around for fun and always have a few on hand. I haven’t noticed yet, but it there a forum on here for posting you classics, muscle cars and streetrods for sale or trade?

If you want to sell or trade anything the flea market is a good place. Those of us that tend to be gearheads will often put up photos of our rides.

I tow a 50 Ford as my toad. Of course it has a Fat Man chassis with coil overs, PDB, PS, A/C, a 302 Ford coupled to a Tremec 5 speed. I have the Dakota dash. The ony thing original is the sheet metal and except for the wheels it looks just like Henry made it.

Notice to all owners of vintage cars………use them. Life is short. Enjoy your toys.

If you are interested in scooter rental i would get on the horn, NOW. Go back on this thread to date 1/13/2016 by Boateral.

All the info is there. While making our reservation the lady told me the scooter pool always goes empty.
