Jon and Tom,
I know that we are dry docking. But, is their a dump station and water if needed?

The best part of the whole facility is the dump station.
Kept in tip top condition.
Gotta get rid of all the donuts and pizza some where. !!!!!!!!!!!
If you think his oil prices are high wait till you pay the disposal fee for all the sh…………..

I would suggest plotting your trip on a paper map. If you use the GPS to get there, you will end up down a goat path with 4′ ditches on each side. I know because I did it… In the dark and in the snow………. Another Greenhorn move!!
-
I think the lady in my GPS hates me.
Sends me places that aren’t even close sometimes.
-
Buddy, I found a “wide spot” in the road and jacked the 45 footer around and got out. The next time I came back to get the bus I took the truck down the same road to see if I could have made it or not. This being my first solo flight in the beast I may not have made it. Although Jeff’s boys said I could have done it. Maybe if it was day time and not in the snow!!
-
Can we get an end spot? Our generator is probably the noisiest on the coaches that are going to be there, and with a new residential refrigerator, I’m not sure how much we’ll need to run the generator. Hate noise pollution and imposing it on others–one of the reasons our next coach will be a Prevost.
-
You can park next to me. Those of us that have spent a night in a rest area or truck stop parked next to a cattle truck or a reefer with a noisy refrigeration unit will find your generator to be nothing more than some white noise.

Set your GPS for I-75, Tennessee Exit 72 (Highway 72) as a way-point to Jeff’s and all will be well.
The newer trucker or RV branded GPS units do a much better job of directing big rigs, assuming you have set your height, weight and length.
I have found the Garmin RV 760 LMT to be very good, not perfect, but good. As with any GPS, it needs to be frequently updated and the driver must be aware of changing conditions like road closures and construction.

I am not sure. It has been set up through Miller in Chattanooga and will be a local company. I have confidence it will demonstrate the correct method because the owner of Miller is an H3 owner.
I have reviewed several Prevost service manuals regarding towing and will see how the professionals aproach towing compared to what the manual says. Solid axle coaches are simple to tow, IFS coaches, not so simple.
-
Sounds great Jon glad you are doing it, I am sure it will be good

Thanks, Jon. We are in Arkadelphia tonight, and will spend a couple of nights in Nashville before heading to Jeff’s place. Should be there early afternoon. We have a teal and white Affinity towing a silver Maxima.
