PC “Know Your Prevost Seminar 2”

I just registered for the seminar, so hopefully that means there was a slot left for me. I’ll be coming as the prospective buyer and hope to soak up as much knowledge from the gurus as possible. After reading Jon’s post about the value of the seminar to the propspective buyer, the timing of the seminar is perfect timing for me since I hope to be in a coach sometime towards the end of the year.

Brian, I make stuff like that up all the time.
Actually you should benefit considerably because you are going to get to see and discuss a lot of things an owner should know such as air system maintenance. What we cover in class however might not be as beneficial to you as being able to see a whole lot of coaches in one spot and to talk to owners who are able to talk objectively about them. Sellers might tell you what they think you want to hear. Owners will tell you facts based on their experience.

Just registered for the Prevost Seminar 2 and got the button that said thank you for registering but had no place or did not redirect me to a place for credit card information to pay. What do i do?

Shortly you will be asked to pay as we were waiting until we had enough response so we would not have to refund funds in the event the class was not filled. We look forward to another class and meeting many new coaches…

What time should we arrive on Friday, October 23rd ?
Are there classes on Friday or just for arrival and getting set up?

As Jeff mentioned, arrive anytime you want. Not sure what we’ll do for dinner Friday, we may change the pizza to Sunday evening since last time a lot of folks bailed out on Sunday and we wasted a lot of food.

Friday is a good day to just hang around, get to know others, swap lies, and wax my coach.
Several of the folks attending have not bought a coach yet and this would be a good opportunity to see a variety of coaches and speak to the owners about the different types and conversions.

Will we get an agenda for the seminar for Saturday & Sunday?

On Friday you will get an agenda and a folder which will have in it a flash drive that contains the entire seminar.
On the flash drive will be all the photos we review in class as well as all the links used for the seminar.
What we won’t know until the seminar is what specific items of interest we will be discussing relative to the coaches in attendance. We are going to have several coaches in the air so you can see the differences in things such as brakes, probably a solid axle coach, definitely an IFS coach, maybe an 8V92, for sure a Series 60 and if one of our members will allow perhaps a look at a Volvo equipped coach’s engine.
If attendees are willing to show and discuss mods or features in their coaches we will attempt to set up some form of organized way to see those. For example, on my coach I have added a back up pump to the Headhunter, and I have isolated a majority of the air systems and provided each with a shut off valve. Others have features installed such as Pressure Pro, dash cams, etc. that may be of interest.
We will attempt to follow the agenda, but everyone attending should feel comfortable in asking questions about any topic as the need arises. This is your seminar.

For what it is worth, Olivia, Gabi and I are going to be visiting Vonore prior to the start of the seminar to have her air systems checked out. Tom and Jon were kind enough to allow me to attend the seminar, so we will be there and I am sure we will learn a lot. Looking forward to meeting some new faces.
