OYSTERFEST AND A SEMINAR

Tom and I are set to arrive on 4/14 and leave 4/19. Initially we thought we should include a seminar and it was discussed here. But I am scheduled to back surgery the end of March and my attendance is going to be solely determined on how well that goes.
A seminar as we have presented them takes an enormous amount of front end work and with my issues I haven’t done any prep work for a formal seminar.
Having said that however I think there is an opportunity for all of us to informally get into discussions and question and answer periods open to any topic. Tom and I can moderate such discussions perhaps on a morning or two and as stated above, while we are doing that the wives will be free to do anything they might wish to do.
New or relatively new owners should take advantage of sessions such as described above because open and free discussions between owners is very educational. It is an opportunity to identify other owners with similar conversions and to group together to share information and ideas.
All topics can be on the table for discussion and I would imagine we all will have opportunities to do show and tell by looking at other coaches for ideas relating to modifications and how they are set up.

Just to clarify, there will be no gatherings of any kind in the clubhouse. Any group discussions will have to be outside, maybe near the fire pit or under an awning.

With a little over 2 weeks to go we are looking forward to escaping house arrest and changing the scenery.
Pandion Ridge and the entire Orange Beach area is a neat place to be. Although the pandemic has and will have an impact on us meaning masks and separation we are looking forward to some great food, shopping and seeing friends again.
Come one, come all. We can swap lies and enjoy a lot of bus talk.

Looks like I will be able to make it to Orange Beach after all 🙂 I’ve booked a site and will look forward to seeing/meeting folks!

There’s plenty of room. Come one, come all.
The object for this week, aside from trying to eat all the Gulf Coast oysters, is to see who can tell the biggest lies.

I think the guy who just posted above will be spreading a fair amount of garden fertilizer.

Just consider all discussions to be nutrient rich and suitable for organic gardening.
