The coach started right up and it was off to see the Wizard. I took it for a nice hour run and the 8V92 never missed a beat, wow what a great sounding engine.

I still have the 15/55 mph, no cruise and no Jake brake issue and have made an appointment with Clark Power Service in Knoxville for 7:00 AM Monday morning. I’ll go up Sunday late afternoon and spend the night in the coach so I’m there and ready to go. I felt Sunday will give me less traffic to deal with and lessen the frustration of my speed restraints to other drivers.

Thank you one and all for your help and encouragement and you’re right, the thread has gotten a little long.

Its good to hear your coach finally started and you were able to move it. Its even better to hear that you’re headed to ETLC & Luxury RV Resort on Monday. I expect you will be impressed and at the same time relieved that you have an individual and his organization so close to take care of your coach.

Hopefully Buddy Brown will still be there and you can meet him.

I have some questions about your coach purchase.

I recall you bought it in Austin, TX. Did you buy it from a private owner directly? Through a broker? From a dealer who had the coach on consignment? From a dealer who had the coach in his or her inventory?

How did you find the coach? Craigslist? PC coaches for sale? Prevost-Stuff coaches for sale? RV’s for sale? (which one) Word of mouth? A (possible former) friend?

I’m curious to know more about the circumstances behind your coach purchase.

I bought it from a private party and fist saw it on Craig’s List. I’m really quite surprised you don’t know all this? Especially since I put the entire transaction on your credit card! BTW I got my North Carolina plate on Thursday and you may have guessed it by now… Yep, Your card!

Hey Glen Greetings Sir,

First of all what is a 8V92TA, what does the TA stand for? Mine is called 8V92 Silver, so who wins? We both have a 1991 Prevost LE Mirage XL, so whats the difference between the two? And do we make fun of those who just have the 8V92? I think we should!

I really would like to know the differences between the engines, I really would!

TA stands for Turbo After Cooled. Some of the older ones just had the blower. You’ve got um all. More horsepower and heat.
