Don, Keep in mind Li batteries do not like cold temps and below 30 F there is a limit to the charge current.
You can address that easily by adjusting the charge current on the inverters so if you need to charge them you will not exceed the limit.
However if they have been allowed to get below 30 F and you start the engine you have to lower the 12V alternator output or risk damaging them. To avoid any potential with my Li batteries I put a wall between them and the aux compressor and A/C units and sealed and insulated the compartment to an extent. Then I added a 200 watt heater in the box and used a thermostatic device to cut in at 40 F, and cut out at 50 F.
I have had numerous occasions to be in below 30 temps, and with the heater control powered up I have no issues. The heating system for the battery box is powered through the batteries via the inverter and is on the entertainment center electrical circuit. To minimize the possibility of dead batteries due to the relatively modest load I have a voltmeter in the coach with a warning alarm. It is set to alert at 24.8 volts (12.4) which on Li is close to when the Li voltages drop sharply.

Thanks for the update and actual tag up driving experience. I always assumed the tag lift would cancel out as some speed, we now know that’s a fairy tale. My 40 footers would immediately lift the tag wheel off the ground a couple inches, my 45’s wouldn’t clear the pavement, but I never gave it the time for the drive bags to bring the suspension up to ride height, it likely takes some time.

Good point. I’ll check it out. Thanks for the input……

If not, I think you can go SRO if there are no objections.

jon, so it looks like my best route for my liberty classic is to keep it in the climate controlled storage and just plug it into the 120v they have in the wall just to keep the “house” batteries charged up? or are you saying as long as i have good batteries then i can just shut her down completely.?. of course remove stuff from fridge.

You don’t need 50A when parked. 20A in a climate controlled shelter will be plenty. No comparison leaving the bus outside vs inside storage. Priceless.
