Good advice Gerald. And with an older coach like mine, I think even more important to be careful. My Trace inverters are no longer available. Jeff was able to find a used, completely tested Trace for me. Otherwise, both would need replacement with upgraded inverters some new wiring etc. Significantly more costly. Anyhow – Good to be a bit more careful with power in the future.

All of my coaches have had the air compressor intake just downstream from the air filter, and ahead of the turbo.
I can understand why someone might see an advantage of putting slightly pressurized air into the compressor but that pressurization varies and when it is pressurized it is hot which is not really beneficial to a compressor that has to be cooled anyway.
No matter how much pressure the compressor intake air has, the bus pneumatic system is still going to be limited to about 120 PSI.

I don’t think Hugh has HWH or any modifications to his level low.
But Tom’s question is a valid one and if nothing else owners of modified leveling systems should learn how to operate all the features of the level low, the supplemental leveling system and how to disable the supplemental system to retain full control of the coach level low system. Very important.

Oops, posted same time as Prevost Service, so this may not apply, but is good info anyway.
Robin,
FYI, if it’s the chassis Equalizer, it was likely changed out by someone in the past coach history. When I did mine, I had several conversations with Prevost and they did not use Surepower in favor of Vanner. That’s what happened to mine, someone changed out the original Vanner to the Surepower.
Here’s the updated version:
