Why not consider a Country Coach conversion? They are also simpler as far as electronics go, and there are several in the PC coach for sale listings that fit your budget. Country Coach cabinet woodwork is second to none, and their OTR-on-a-budget AC that Jon mentioned would probably do well for your needs as you described, since you also have the dash AC and three roof ACs. That being said Prevost OTR is fantastic when you travel in 100-degree weather like we did last month. With separate settings for the driver and the rest of the coach, the entire coach stays at the temperature you set. We alternate between OTR AC and generator running the CruiseAirs and certainly stay cool. Good luck in your search!

Same as Joel, clean the drain, it’s full of Tam’s hair.:) I use a piece of wire with a hook on the end.

Terrific assistance, but determined it was not the thermostat. He spent plenty of time talking me thru the various components, although I didn’t have his $1,000 tester. May be a bad coil.
He hooked me up with a colleague of his in Denver to help me out next month when we’ll be at Estes Park. It’s so great having contacts nation-wide.

Based on what you describe I fully agree with a Royale. They were made by Monaco and most had a nice wood interior. To get the Series 60 with a solid axle your model years are going to be around 95 to late 97.
If you are willing to consider independent front suspension you broaden your search. If you are willing to consider the 8V92 you also increase the number of available coaches.
There are other coaches of nice quality that had simple robust systems. If you are willing to consider other than a primarily wood interior I would add Angola, American, Hoffman, and possibly Vision to the list. I would also suggest a Liberty Classic for its somplicity but it will not have a wood interior, and in the solid axle, Series 60 model years that was a well equipped coach with a lot of features, but simple systems, unlike its counterpart the Elegant Lady which tended to be more complex.
