This is not advice because I do not live where toll roads are prevalent.

I have none, and I pay tolls when encountered and if paying a toll is not practical I just await the bill in the mail. No big deal.

Just another something to check…Soon after purchase of our coach, I had the same symptom on our maiden voyage and after soaping the Haldex dryer itself, I found 6 small allen head bolts on the underside of the dryer were not tight. Those 6 small bolts secured a part of the dryer to itself and had a seam. I tightened them and has not leaked since, nor does it cycle repeatedly as you describe.

I think we are getting some real insight here as to why there will be no slides in Nancy’s future.

If Tom is willing to re-use old deck shoes that were shit soaked instead of heading to Payless Shoes to get another pair for $30, it is now obvious to me he will not spend a penny to get slides. Poor Nancy.

We had a ’98 Vantare H3-45 DS and keep it plugged in at home all the time… I always have at least 2 A/Cs or heaters running and the other 2 units on Fan Only for circulation… our bus never gets too hot inside or too cold. Our electric bill goes up about $40-$50 a month in the summer months and less than that in the cold or cooler months… we have never really noticed much difference..we had new Lifelines from Tom and the inverters stayed in Float Mode…. you might want to check your Inverter settings as well as batteries…. something doesn’t sound right.

Enjoy your new coach… we loved our Vantare !

    Cheers, Diane

Roger, you are not the only one with door clearance issues and I just hope if I ever screw up it is just a dome that gets damaged. With my limited rear clearance I don’t want to find out if the bus or the garage is stronger. My damage will make the price of a dome seem pretty cheap.

I forgot to note that Geo and Corey were at the same rally as these coaches. RV resorts are missing the boat if they don’t want coaches like these due to age. So was Hard headed Ken. That’s all eye candy to bus lovers.

Neat. Was just thinking, a tow hitch on a 911. Oh dear! Cracking solution though.

Davy, For some reason after a certain number of years the shift pad has to be replaced, and it’s always the D button that becomes problematic. Order from the Allison number nd not the Prevo number as the dfference is about 4000. Geo.

So:: my name is Bob. I’m a do it your self type. Doing my 5th conversion. Why because I like to build. This one is a 98 XLE Mods Eaton 10 speed auto three slides bath and a half and many other out of the box ideas. I feel like the Clampets in the company of the factory coaches. Well–guess someone has to be on the bottom looking up. Will share what little I do know. Bob
