Ditto on the Italian place at the gas station. I asked the owner why he didn’t advertise more. He said his priority is for residents and certainly enjoys us tourist stopping in. At the time, he probably would be overwelmed if too many discovered his great food.

My Prevost Installed OTR blower continues to shoot the 120 circuit breaker located 3rd bay from the front drivers side. I have replaced the breaker with a brand new one and the problem continues. Any one had a similiar esxperience and can give me a suggestion on what to do next ?Relays? The blower will attempt to run and stops almost immediately.

The compressor works fine and I can still get cold air thru the dash vents. This is the blower motor that circulates the conditioned air thru out the remainder of the bus.

I have used the scales at a couple of truck stops and you can get each axel on a different scale at the same time. Your right, full fuel, full fresh water and I guse you might get caught some time with some thing in one of the holding tanks but you might get by with the weight of the tank contents.

This is a view that I had the opportunity to see when I watched the DMI (detailed maintenance inspection) on my “Prevost to be”. Thanks to information from Jon and Tom I insisted on the DMI which will more than pay for itself in the negoiated price. They used six of these portable lifts 16K each I think, to lift the unit. Great fun to watch at the Ft. Worth facility. Pick up in a week or so – getting anxious.

Depending on age, condition, tire history, etc., you may be able to swap it out with the tag tire. Mine are all new, they have not been curbed, run low on air, etc., so if you know your tires, it’s an option.

I just fixed the same problem and Jon is on point with the 3port valves not shifting position either port or starboard. You will find air coming out of the exhaust port on the failed valve with the tag lift valve actuated.

    Good luck.

I will try to get a picture of the catch can tonight after I get off work, but it basically is a 3″ PVC pipe about 18 ” long. The 3″ is overkill and I will probably make the permanent one smaller. One end has a cap on it and the other has a clean out plug. I glued in side of the pipe that would be the top 2 hose bibs to fit the slobber tubes the same width as the tubes hanging down. Also on the top I placed a breather to keep from building pressure. The breather is what is on the top of a hydraulic unit. That’s it, just hang it under the engine connect the tubes and drain as often as needed for you engine.

I had one made for my Eagle out of a steel pipe and had the ends welded on it and then had a drain plug put in the bottom. I will probably do this for the Prevost when I discover how much it is putting in the can. It sure makes the wife happier about the oil on the concrete drive!!!!!

I have heard of guys hanging 1/2 gallon milk jugs underneath each pipe as well. they are just a little harder to drain.

I have a 98/99 CC 40 footer and just returned from a trip to Houston – Dallas and back home to Monroe Louisiana and the coach did seem to run a few degrees cooler without my full length flap on the back. The thermostat did not seem to cycle as much (the temps did not rise and fall as much as before).

And on mine, the burning rubber smell is really horendous.

My Marathon has the flap directly behind the tag wheels where it does not influence the engine cooling air but stops grit kicked up by the wheels.

    Ken,

I just made a quick trip last week from GA to FL and back and got almost the same thing on the Pro Driver 8.64. I talked to Mango Mike returning to VA at the same time and he had just got his best fuel mileage ever. We wondered if the blend change from winter had anything to do with it. Whatever the reason, it was good, except for the price.
