I remember a similar conversation from when I first logged into another Prevost related site (not sure if it is still around or not) almost a year and a half ago. This has yet to happen to me, and I only use the truck fills.
BTW, have you guys (and gals) been staying up to date and posting to the PUP site too? You should!

The
bus was set up for Direct TV when I got it. Have had Dish at home for many
years and like it. Contacted Moto Sat regarding changing to dish and found out
that it’s a simple do it yourself setup option.Dish offers a deal that includes a small auto locate portable antenna for those
areas where the one on the bus is blocked by trees. The antenna is powered from
the coax and all controls are mounted in the “Tailgater box” that is
a little bigger than a basketball and fully enclosed with a carry handle. I can
now place the portable antenna 100 feet from the bus and get HD programming for
an extra $6 a month added to my home bill, Thats $90 a month less than I was paying Direct TV.New receiver and the antenna onetime cost $499 from Dish.
Not sure what I would do with 10 receivers, maybe one in the kayak, and one in
the john or would that be Jon, not sure. -
Dale,
I can watch my house charge and amps as I’m driving, usually around 13.7 or there abouts and after 4 or 5 hours, they’re topped off. Then hooking to shore power my intverter/charges go directly to float. I know there are a lot of variables to this, but 8 to 10 hours should have them fully charged.

Thanks guys. I always appreciate the help.
I am not doubting that it is electrical in nature I was just wondering since I haven’t had any problems since the air repair. The week the air problem was finally fixed was also the week that Prevost Nashville upgraded my engine cradle. Any chance they might have tightened something that was loose in the process of that?
No big matter really. I am just very glad it has been completely operational. I travel at least one day a week and no problems since the last of February is good news for me.

If he had an 8V92 I would have suggested that, but for those of us that own XL or XLII coaches with the Series 60 pulling the valve cover is only slightly less painful than root canal work without anesthesia or numbing.
In some cases to do that we have to partially disassemble the bedroom.
If it ain’t broke in this case, don’t try to fix it. And if it quits, start at the switch by the driver and hope it is there.

It could be as simple as usage of the Jake cleaned up the contacts somewhere in the system. The only reason why I focussed on the electrical side is you indicated the entire Jake quit working and I doubt if the multiple solenoids in the head all decided to quit simultaneously and then resume working.

The two are not related. The Jake is internal to the engine and is unrelated to the air system.

The change has nothing to do with the bus. First we don’t watch a lot of TV. Where we live we get one over the air channel. Direct will not supply us with local channels to the county where we live. We live out of town 2 miles from the county line. If we lived 2 miles south we would have access to Direct’s local channels. Direct TV offers local channels to our area. We have never had HD so it is not a big deal for us.

Many thanks for your good advice about replacing all the parts that could go wrong due to age. Very wise.
Meantime, until I get to a service center, would it be bad for the engine if I turn it on every 3 days or so to re-level, for only about 10 minutes at a time? I am settled in a rather remote, tiny town for six months….
There she is (below). She’s been babied all her life. Garaged. Maintained. Loved.

When in Rome do as the Romans do.
We can easily last 4/5 days without doing laundry.
The washing machine is the water hog.
