It seems to me roadside assistance’s primary “value” is getting you connected to a local service/tow company. This had some value last century with limited connectivity and no Internet across the country. But is it still true today?
Couldn’t you just search for 24/7 truck towing or whatever you are looking for when you need them? It would allow to make sure they have the right equipment and experience vs explaining all that to a minimum wage call center employee.
I have had Good Sam for the last 7 years but thankfully never needed to use them. I always wondered if I should just rely on my phone and credit card.
