    Herb,

This is from our web developer.

That’s because he has predictive typing turned on on the Samsung. He can either have that on and our spell check turned off, or our spellcheck off and Samsung predictive typing turned on, but he can’t have both. On the later model Samsungs using Nougat, if he wants to use our spell check, go to settings, general management, language and input, virtual keyboard, Samsung keyboard, and turn off Predictive Text.

None of that means didley to me, I’m Apple.

    Chris,

Good to hear. There are times I suffer a lot from self inflicted wounds……..ready, fire, aim.

The “Reply” and the “Since last read” buttons are clearly leftover images from the old site. They should be replaced with ones that match the new nav links.

Jon, I just posted some pics in the “general discussions” area about my train horns and the pics are HUGE. They didn’t automatically resize to “a proper” size like before.

Well, first let me apologize for not replying to anyone’s posts after I posted. We had no cell service and horrible internet service. What little I was able to get I used to do some work.

Anyway, I remembered I had gotten an email from Featherlite with the events they would be attending. So I dug through my archives and found that they were set up for a week literally 3 miles from us. They were such help to us in Daytona we thought it was worth a shot. So we drove over there, Butch talked to a tech. The tech said if you have time I will just follow you over there and check it out.

He got in our 3rd bay and sure enough Jon, bad motherboard. He thinks maybe start capacitor caused it. He said, of course, no part for it, but said it could be rebuilt. So we survived in SD with our cruise airs but as we approached southern OK holy moly it was hot!

Im sure this happened because we are looking at newer coaches and just put 8k into her for bushings, a-arms, etc. we got the DMI at Prevost and we were pleased with the report. We wanted to get her ready for a new owner.

I really appreciate all the quick response! I can always depend on yall!

    Thanks again.

I experienced a false low coolant level shutdown on my DDEC2 equipped 1989 8V92 once. Can’t remember exactly how I bypassed…I believe I first disconnected all wires from the low coolant sensor in the tank and that was unsuccessful. I believe I then connected both wires together on one terminal of the sensor and that worked. The problem was actually a defective low coolant level module which is located in the rear electrical box over the engine.

As Jack explained, your seeing DC amps on inverter and AC amps on shore.

What you describe Dale is usually what happens when the batteries are going south. How old are they?

I change oil at 5000 miles because I am going under the coach then. Lubes are specified at 6200, but it is easier for me to do them at any time the odometer is at a 5000 mile number. Compared to the real cost of operating the bus oil at 5000 miles is cheap so I just do it at that time.
