Posted by tom on September 19, 2017 at 12:00 amare these in process or is this the final? Not liking it at all. And the login at the bottom of the page? Why?

Wow, it is different. I’m sure it’s in the ‘teething’ phase.
The letters and boxes show up so small.
And the letters show up in light grey, harder to see.

The site changes are to add features we previously did not have such as spell check. We intentionally changed the log in to provide the folks who pay for this site by sponsoring us a better opportunity to be noticed. We are willing to take the heat for that because without our sponsors none of this is possible.
I am still learning the site also because when it is real issues we did not see now show up. Keep providing feedback because we will make this site as good as possible.

Hi Jon,
nice new site. I think there is a lot of white open space. I dont have a smart phone so, maybe this page works better on a phone than on a laptop. My old eyes would like it also. Is it my laptop?
There is more horizontal space to make use of.
Tnx

Wondering…Didn’t see a “remember me” box…have to log in with name & password in longhand each time we visit??

Jon, I just posted some pics in the “general discussions” area about my train horns and the pics are HUGE. They didn’t automatically resize to “a proper” size like before.
-
Larger and darker fonts sure would be nice for these old eyes. And all the lines are gone. Everything is too small.

The “Reply” and the “Since last read” buttons are clearly leftover images from the old site. They should be replaced with ones that match the new nav links.
-
Now when I login with my saved password, the reply button is there and works. With the old site I had to manually type them in every time to get the reply button. But I had to type this in another program then copy and paste it here or it came out like this: wwhwhewhen iI lologloginlogin wwitwithwith mmy sasavesaved ppasspasswopassword ththe rereplreplyreply bbubuttonbutton iis tthethere aandand wwoworworks

I can’t figure out why so many web designers like “GRAY” LETTERING. total waste of time,I like BLACK LETTERING.

I restarted my phone but it is still doing the same thing.
I wanted to try and post a picture and see how that worked so here’s our 1968 RS SS Camero -
I am trying another post and it’s working well this time, the only things different from the last time I logged out and then logged back in and changed the format to bold.

Tom and Jon, I love you guys, I really do! You provide a place where we can get together and share. And while you guys are the masters of the midway on Prevost, you may be just a little less so on web site design.
Login at the bottom of the page, really? Advertising all on top, what? Why not a few inches on top as before on a rotation basis and others running down the side/sides where you can click for more information. I payed little attention to ads on the plastic coach forums. But the ads here are Prevost oriented and I do pay attention to them!
Now don’t get all bunched up and mad and call Jeff and tell him to do terrible things to my bus! But this sight is not intuitive, for heaven sake the spell check underlines Prevost as a miss spelling for heaven sake!
I feel bad for the criticism because I know you guys worked hard on this. As a database developer I don’t expect clients to know how to build a database, that’s my job. But it is my Job to guide and make recommendations. Some clients I refused the job because they wanted me to build something that wouldn’t work or was of poor design or both. Has your web guy said to you anything like “you may want to think about the bottom login” and/or “gray letters, are you sure”? And I could go on! But if they haven’t done that they have not done their job!
I know, I know, my login has become corrupted!

I’m trying to figure out how you inserted the photos.
Under “Insert”, it asks for “source”. I’m not sure what to put there …
It would be nice if I could drag & drop in this box.
What about the Log In next to the Log Out?

You don’t see this at the bottom of the post you’re making?
