Central Vac?
Posted by Tim on July 26, 2015 at 8:57 pmI much prefer tile/wood in a coach; however, if a coach has carpet, do the various converters put in central vac?
I haven’t noticed it mentioned in any of the “for sale” ads to date.

Tim, we have all hardwoods and tile, but we carry one of those recharchable Dyson Vacs. It’s light and powerful, easy to store. I think they sell for 2 or 300 bucks, they’re perfect for the coach.

We have the built in type that the owner added in 2008 and I love it… works amazingly well and no hassle.. reaches the entire inside of coach… bag is easy to change in outside bay… would hate to be without it now!!
Cheers, Diane

We ordered the central vac system with our new coach. I like it and it also has a toe-kick feature in the kitchen if you want sweep ‘stuff’ into it.
We had it on the last coach and wanted it on the new one.

We love the central vac on our SOB. It makes it easy for the coach and has a connection to hook up the hose in a passenger’s side bay so we can vacuum the car or whatever outside beside the coach. The cannister is easily emptied (bag change) as it is mounted in the roof of a bay also.

Thanks for your comments & the added usages …
I would think it would be pricey to add one after-the-fact since they would have to “plumb” the pvc. Would be nice, and one extra side benefit is you could use it to seal “air-tight” vacuum bags for clothes storage.
