Dave, those are most definitely captive items from Marathon. I can’t help.
For those struts just call Prevost parts in Chicago and have your s/n handy. They are not very expensive.

OMG, do we really have to worry that folks who belong to POG won’t attend a Prevost rally that has PC cooties all over it?
I could be wrong, but except for a few true believers, I’ll bet that most of the folks who belong to POG are just Prevost enthusiasts seeking information, like the folks who post here, and are not all that interested in whatever animosity the owner of POG has against PC. Perhaps a big rally would be an opportunity for some sort of detente between the groups.
Anyway, I’m interested as long as the guy at the admission gate won’t look too closely at my bus on the way in.

Like everything in life, there is a learning curve. I really didn’t expect this type of service with Prevost. Seems just like every other ‘non-customer oriented’ company. Nothing really special about their operation.
The billing dept. that called me was in Illinois. From now on, everything thing will be right on the table without a stone unturned.
Bernie calls them as he sees them….. no fluff.
Again, thanks for everyone who responded.

Mr Mark
Greg is correct. Last year We set an appt at Mira Loma for a single windshield replacement. Had aggreed price for on glass + labor.we were right there in the bus during the work. No talking to the techs other than initial pleasantries. We left for P Springs and home. Bill showed up after we got home with labor for two windows, but just one part quantity. Gave them a call and an adjustment made. You Must call them. “Billing” is in a world of their own

Mark,
Sorry to hear that your first experience was Less than you expected. I don’t have a new coach but my first experience was in Nashville and it was amazing… Literally, they rolled out the red carpet. Were great with me the bus and even my 9 year old. They did exactly what I asked them to work on they found a few other things that they corrected. It was a very positive expereince all around. During our big trip, We had our CAC replaced at Prevost Mira Loma and that wasn’t anywhere near the same experience or facility. When I got the bill it was way more than what they quoted me. Then when Big Al checked it over back at MCC he found several things they didn’t do quite right. I called the Branch Manager and he made it right.
Getting service at an independent shop in Alaska they said I couldn’t stay with Bus…. I said no deal they compromised or I was leaving..
My advice, find places you can build a relationship with and feel compfortable about…. Prevost is a good company… hopefully this is an isolated occurance… I wouldn’t right them all off….based on my experience lots of very smart, and helpful techs…some less than ideal ones as well. But that is how it is with anything.
Enjoy the New bus

Peter,
If I can’t find the right people to work on our coach that I can trust, then the coach will be gone.

Al,
I never spoke to a tech. All of my converstations were with the guy at the customer service area.
If I had mechanical trouble with the generator, I would think it would be a Prevost warranty repair.
We are new at this with Prevost, you won’t believe what they charged for my brake question, a quart of oil and 3 inches of antifreeze for the small box (almost $300).
I will avoid them. I may get to know Jeff really well.
Tom, your explaination of them cheating you on hours right there is cause for me to look elsewhere. I can’t stay with the bus and watch every minute of what they are doing. They don’t get very high marks in the trust dept.
